So! I want Niko to Copenhagen!:D

Nah, that MF wannabe should stay at home...

It HAS to be Olga & Ligo! xcheer

Please Latvia, surprise us all with the RIGHT choice (Olga & Ligo of course)! No wannabe songs to ESC! That's the last thing we need! You're in a tough semi and you need to stand out, and what better way doing so than with an entry that is actually Latvian and by being true yourself? ;)

This is both energetic and lovable. Truly uplifting. It would be grest having it in ESC, but I guess chances are slim? :(
What a treat it woud be!

Well, Dons will probably win the televote in the final, so it depends on where this one ends up in the jury and rest of televoting. I cross my fingers for a miracle, it would be such a waste not to send it.

I do think it won the public vote in the first semi though, so there might be a chance!

Samanta Tina, Niko or Ralf Eilands for me!!! Please, one of these three should win and give Latvia a good result. Everything else - no!

I like the Olga & Ligo song - to my ear it sounds like they're trying to go for the folkish Avicii sound so it'd be interesting to see how it went down in Europe.

So here is my top 3.

1. Katrine Lukins
2. Samanta Tina
3. Olga & Ligo

I'd be fine with any of them winning. For a change, the Latvian song selection doesn't suck. Katrine's song is pretty spectacular.

Well, at least Latvia chose kinda wisely in the semifinals, especially in the first one. Now they only have to pick one of the few songs that are not crap.

1. Katrine Lukins
2. Olga & Ligo

Finally someone with a sense, seeing people rooting for all these wannabe entries by Niko, Samanta Tina and Katrine Lukins is really depressing... the Eurovision spirit is truly non-existing... I'm afraid they'll get their Anglophilia / MF wannabes win :(

I've just started to listen to all the songs.
I quit like Niko's song, but it reminds me a little to a light version of Shout It Out by David Lindgren...

If I listen to Niko, all I hear is David Lindgren.

I do like Saule riet, but I have a slight issue with the Wake Me Up effect. Though a good idea, I can't help but feel the execution was a little poor - there was potential for more, but it seems like they played it a bit too safe. The last chorus with Olga taking it all out has some of what I would've expected. Perhaps it's the glaring similarity to Wake Me Up that puts me off more than it should, but… why?

Still, it's the second or third best in Latvia, after Pēdējā vēstule and possibly Cake to Bake. The problem for any song in the Latvian NF right now is that it's going up against Dons.
