I actually think it COULD win for the very fact that it is Latvia... many others would directly go with the conventional wannabe MF tracks...

But Dons is such a big pre-fav that I can't see anyone beating that :/ ... although if it's not Olga/Ligo I'm ok with Dons... but Olga/Ligo would be SO great and of course those dancers need to stay!!!

LTV has uploaded all the videos from the semis, and Dons is the third-most viewed, with 5,488 hits so far.
Sabine Berezina and DJ Dween, who didn't qualify, come in second with 10,068.
And finally, leading with a whopping 23,804, we have Olga and Ligo.

Not sure what makes her a wannabe. Good song and good voice, not sure what the problem is. It's impossible to know whether a song will qualify until we know the quality of songs it is competing with.

Olga's song is good, and I wouldn't be too upset with it winning, but this song is pure quality.

Also, not agreeing with you about preferred songs does not make us without sense.

Wannabe from a Eurovision perspective, she herself may not be a wannabe, but it wouldn't come as surprise by now I'm much preferring entries that don't try to sound as if they come from the US/UK or Sweden but rather sound as if they actually represent their countries.

Well, I wouldn't really count on YT views. Dons' song is already a hit in Latvia, wheres the rest

But I'll try to stay optimistic and maybe there's a chance Olga & Ligo could even snatch the televoting support from Dons!

Dons will most probably win the televote, it's already a hit in Latvia. Everything else depends on the juries and the runner-ups in televoting (My hope is Olga & Ligo will atleast end second in televote and first in jury vote)... but if not Olga/Ligo, I'm ok with Dons aswell.

I'd say YT views mean almost nothing

Dons is one of the most played songs on Latvian radio and number one on Latvian iTunes (so far there's no other entrants on there that I can see).

BUT, I'm staying hopeful. I'm pretty confident Olga&Ligo won their semi, and there's a 3 week gap between the semis and the final where songs could be promoted on radio etc. Personally I think a 3 week gap is way too long though, the final should have been next week or at most the week after.
