I dont agree.
1st of all they arent in the broadcasting zone

2nd of all the contest would start at 2, 3am no one would see it it would be a failure there.

3rd of all imagine they win. How would they host such an event at 3am?

4th of all more points for ex.urss which is bad.

People in wake up to watch Eurovision in the morning and even vote (their votes are not counted) + real fans will wake up even at 4 in the morning to watch Eurovision.

I'm tired of the politics and stuff like that! I don't understand why some people watch Eurovision if they think it's unfair....

Russia is even more far??Have you ever saw a map? Yes part of Russia isnt in the EBU zone but the most important part is and dont even compare Russia and Kazhakstan in termos of european territories cuse Kazakhstan has none.

Never saw Vladivostok no?

1 - it doesn't matter because it's not the only option of applying to EBU.

2 - As I've said people already get up at night in order to see it. And btw it's broadcasted at 1AM, 2AM.

3 - They would host it earlier. Azerbaijan will host in the midnight!

4 - wow, so liking our entries is bad? It's about applying to our taste actually because not everybody's supposed to like your entries or vote how YOU like. I voted for Georgia so please, no need in discriminating my taste, calling it bad etc. My taste is certainly not worse than yours.

France have some island in the 3 Oceans, So technically half of the world can be in eurovision since there is some French people who can wake up and watch the contest next to Indonesia, Mexico or Antartica?

Our people in the Carribean or in the Indian ocean aren't less French, the same as Vladivostok people aren't less Russian, but the power, the main history of Russia & France are in Moscow, Saint Petersbourg, Paris & Lyon, there is no point in denying that.

If you open the door to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkemistan & Iran could all say ' we want to join too, if they can, why not us?' and they will be right!


I've always learned in my geography studies that Europe ends at the Caspian see and at the Oural mountains and a very very tiny part of Kazakhstan could qualify as European!

For me we will never go as far as Bakou in eurovision because Azerbaijan IS the last European country is you start from Iceland and go West to East.

And don't tell Russia could decide to Host on their East coast if they win, that idea is as ridiculous as an Esc on Groenland if Denmark wins or Tahiti for France!

Kazakhstan is an diferent case, cause they had Lands in Europe and that tinny lands qualifiques for them, after this the EBU can put padlocked to the expansion on ESC on Euroasian Lands withiring a letter to those countries that there NO SPACE FOR THEM :twisted:and that if they try to join, immediately rejected them 4 ever:!::!:

Sorry, but you got it wrong. Kazakhstan is only part of Asia.

5 - 10 % of is in Europe and that's why is in Europe. I gave an example with that is Balkanic country because Triest is in the Balkans, so 0,1 % of is in the Balkans so is a Balkanic country!

Those countries are already EBU members it's up to them only if they want to participate, if they have money or not.
For instance I know that Andorra participates without paying attention to the results. They would participated even if they took last places every year but they need money. Czech Republic broadcaster withdrew even despite high ratings (they lied about low ratings btw) - it had to do something with the attitude of the government and esp the new HoB... EBU has negotiations with Luxembourg and Monaco every year but they aren't interested. I mean focus on whom? I think they are already focused enough.
If we talk about being fair then EBU should pay attention to every European country. K-stan is not even EBU member yet among with Liechtenstein.

I know that the head of the Kazakh broadcaster said that they are really interested in joining EBU but they need money for the submission fee. They can pay for their annual membership. EBU checked them while broadcasting OSCE summit from Astana.
