From EBU rules:

European Broadcasting Area: is bounded on the west by the western boundary of Region 1, on the east by the meridian 40° East of Greenwich and on the south by the parallel 30° North so as to include the northern part of Saudi Arabia and that part of those countries bordering the Mediterranean within these limits. In addition, Iraq, Jordan and that part of the territory of Syrian Arab Republic, Turkey and Ukraine lying outside the above limits are included in the European Broadcasting Area.

Interesting map. Saudi Arabia, Irak and Iran could participate if it was their will and join the EBU.

For me it'd be just OK if they participate in ESC. Nevertheless they are a little "outside" of Europe, but considering the fact that Morocco got their chance long ago, I'm not against the idea of Kazakhstan taking part the next year^^

This is the map of European continent:

Cyprus, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia is outside the continents of Europe! (Although I don't really know why they do not include Cyprus in European continent, while Turkey which is exactly above Cyprus is included).

Kazakh part is like Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia combined. As for hosting ... They want to re-build Aktau (it's across Russia, on Caspian sea) esp for European tourists. Though it's all future plans. Personally I don't believe that they will debut in the near future. They can participate and it's possible in theory but imo it would be better for them to wait for 4-5 years.

Participation in the Contest is open to all active member broadcasters of the EBU. To be an active member, broadcasters must be in the European Broadcasting Area, or be in a Council of Europe member country.[1] Eligibility to participate is not determined by geographic inclusion within the continent of Europe, despite the "Euro" in "Eurovision" — nor does it have a direct connection with the European Union.

Conversations about what country does not deserve/does not belong/shouldn't be in the contest are not in line with the board rules. The topic is to discuss the country's possible debut and acts, rules etc.

Map of Europe. Kazakhstan also have lands in Europe like Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey. Just Israil and Armenia have not lands in Europe in Eurovision.

People in wake up to watch Eurovision in the morning and even vote (their votes are not counted) + real fans will wake up even at 4 in the morning to watch Eurovision.

I'm tired of the politics and stuff like that! I don't understand why some people watch Eurovision if they think it's unfair....
