Re: - KAMANDÉ - (NSC 67) GRAB THE KEY! GET OUT! OUUUUUT!

It is the best thing I've seen on TV since I'm 4 years old. Nothing will ever beat Fort Boyard. :D

Dogmeat: I want people to feel ashamed it didn't pass the semis. :D Nah, I'll change it soon.

Anselm: It does! In more than 26 countries! Including, recently, Norway, Finland and Algeria. The technicians and people working on the show stay on the Fort. The countries must bring their own contestants, hosts, an interpreter (for the technical team) and their own version of the Père Fouras. (The old man asking riddles in the fort's tower. South Korea, for example, has a Napoleon character while UK had an old crazy professor in the first series and a ship captain in the last ones. But in my opinion, the original Père Fouras is still the best.)

KAOS 1 (Kamandé Alpha-Omega Society) invites you to a bloody war between mages...

TAKANASHI YASUHARU
MAHO TAISEN

Fairy Tail's soundtrack has been composed by Takanashi Yasuharu, a well-known video game and anime music composer from Tokyo, Japan. Early in his work, M. Yasuharu develops a strong passion for heavy metal and this type of music is highly reflected in works as Ikki Tousen, Jigoku Shojo, Eyeshield 21 and, of course, Fairy Tail.

Takanashi Yasuharu is also the music composer of the well-known anime Naruto.

The piece Maho taisen (Japanese for Mages' War, translated into Against Magic in the OST) is a fantastic piece of music combining symphonic metal elements with a powerful and emotionally charged woman's voice.

Step into the war and let yourself be charmed by the beauty of Maho taisen. Vote for Takanashi Yasuharu in the Nation Song Contest 68!

KAOS 1 (Kamandé Alpha-Omega Society) loves you to death...

L'ÂME IMMORTELLE
5 JAHRE

L'Âme Immortelle is an Austrian band founded in 1996 and leaded by singer Sonja Kraushofer. The band's music can be described today as ''industrial metal'', even though they have released electronic and industrial-dance material. Their 9th album, Durch fremde Hand, has been released in August of 2008 and is enjoying success over German-speaking countries and others in Europe.

The song 5 Jahre is taken from the Gezeiten album (2004). It is certainly one of the most well-known and popular song from the band.

Is your soul immortal? The only way to protect it is by voting for L'Âme Immortelle in NSC 69!

*P.S.: L'Âme Immortelle was sent by Begonia in NSC 21. You can now accuse Kamandé of sending reused artists...

KAOS 1 (Kamandé Alpha-Omega Society) has a new Celtic friend to introduce you...

LEAHY
SEAMUS

The history of Leahy is a very simple, yet amazing one: the 8 members of this Canadian folk band are all brothers and sisters! Donnell, Erin, Angus, Maria, Siobheann, Doug, Denise and Frank Leahy are born in Lakefield, Ontario. From a very young age, they have developed a strong interest in fiddling and step-dancing that never fade out. True leading experts in the field, members of the Leahy family are hypnotizing, charming and complete masters of their instruments.

The result is an astonishing performance that you may see in this particular song, Seamus, from their 2001 album, Lakefield. The video is taken from their live DVD recorded in Gatineau, Québec in 2006.

Be prepared to be completely staggered by the talent, the rhythm and the vivacity of Leahy. Vote for the family in Nation Song Contest 70!

KAOS 1 (Kamandé Alpha-Omega Society) hates has-been artists...

LES FATALS PICARDS
C'EST L'HISTOIRE D'UNE MEUF

Founded in 1998, Les fatals picards is a well-known band among Eurovision fans. They achieved a 22nd place for France at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with their entry L'amour à la française. With their unique style mixing rock, punk, classic French chanson and sometimes raggae, Les fatals picards have become famous in their homeland for their satirical and often political lyrics.

The song C'est l'histoire d'une meuf is a critical approach to the French annual show Les Enfoirés where many singers, much of them not enjoying success anymore, are gathered to perform for a non-profit cause.

Hissez haut pour Les fatals picards au Concours de la chanson des nations 71!

Re: - KAMANDÉ - (NSC 71, 15th entry) C'est l'histoire d'une meuf...

A cool entry, do you know it's a parody?

They did it to critisize 'les enfoirés', a group of very famours artists who do a couple of concerts across France every year to help the association 'restos du coeur' which helps to feed thousand of french with a low revenue to eat!

A noble cause but they feel apparently some people does it for personal purposes instead of true generosity!

Here is the original clip

Anyway good luck In Dalisskaxkiss
