No offense but I don't really get it when the "home countrie"'s votes are worth so much more than the votes of the other countries. Kinda defeats the purpose of having an NF in the first place, doesn't it? Just saying. :p

My 2nd favourite won so I'm happy. ;)

All the votes received were counting for 75%, while my votes were worthing 25%. The total votes received equals for 338 points, while my votes add up to 113.

338 + 113 = 451
113 / 451 = 0.25 ;)

KAOS 1 (Kamandé Alpha-Omega Society) wants you to take another drink, it's too early to leave, it's only quarter to midnight...

GALANT, TU PERDS TON TEMPS
MARIE PICARD

Galant, tu perds ton temps
: five women, five powerful voices singing the traditional stories and history from Québec. The group has been three-times nominated at the ADISQ ceremony (the most important prize for music in Québec) for Best New Group, Best Show of the Year and Best Traditional Album.

Take a glass, drink it fast and wish the best of luck to Galant, tu perds ton temps for the Nation Song Contest 62!

Just at the other side of the Saint-Laurent for me! I'm coming from Baie-Comeau, sur la Côte-Nord. ;) But now I live in Québec City. :)

Oh cool! I rarely ever meet anyone who knows where my family is from, even when I go to Québec (unless I'm visiting family ). I was at Université Laval for a few weeks last summer working on improving my French. It's an amazing place to live.

KAOS 1 (Kamandé Alpha-Omega Society) has cruel fairytales for NSC 63...

VILLIELÄIN
VOITTAMATON

Villieläin is a Finnish power metal band from Tampere, Finland. Formed in 2006, they released their first album, Julma satu, three years later consisting of lyrics from dark fairytales from the Grimm brothers incorporated in heavy metal music.

Forget the cute, innocent tales from your childhood because Villieläin just turned them into pure evilness! Kamandé is wishing them the best of luck in the Nation Song Contest 63!

Re: - KAMANDÉ - (NSC 63) Are you sure you want a bedtime story?

Ooooh very very much awesome! =D Definitely my favorite entry by Kamandé. =)
And by the way most of well known fairytales, such as ''Hansel and Gretel" ''Red Riding Hood'', and ''Snow White'', were originally very dark folk-tales with many deaths and rather dramatic endings. However, over the time they were heavily edited to become more children-friendly. [/boringfacts] =D

You're very right! Indeed, most people think, sadly, that the innocent fairytales they hear are the original versions. What a shock they must have when they finally know what really happens in them! :p

KAOS 1 (Kamandé Alpha-Omega Society) has vodka, schnaps, wine, rhum, beer, everything you want, for NSC 64...

THE STANFIELDS
THE DIRTIEST DRUNK (IN THE HISTORY OF LIQUOR)

Formed in the summer of 2008, in Nova Scotia (Canada), The Stanfields are a fantastic mix of celtic music, rock, country, bluegrass and alcohol! They can be easily compared to Flogging Molly or The Dropkick Murpheys, but their sound is unique on the Canadian music scene and they sure know how to lead a party, somewhere in a lost pub, like no one else!

Be dirty, be drunk, isn't that what we're all looking for anyway? Vote for The Stanfields in the Nation Song Contest 64! (And they'll give you a beer or two.)
