To all you Haters: Poland won because they had the most universal Appeal by far.

Thanks! Everyone should just do the same what we did and problem solved.

Lol, Sophia's producer is raving about our country not supporting her
I guess it's easier to blame your country than yourself  Almost every other country voted in the same way for us but who cares

Thanks to him I've got no harsh feelings.

My votes went to: :mk: :au: :ua: (I'd changed my vote if I have known about such attitude before) :nl: :es:

I'm happy for :pl: I liked the song (but not her performance tonight, though, she was my #6). Wondering about the host city :D
I'm very pleased with this year's hosting (except questionable postcards).

Nothing to be proud of. You only won because of the senseless voting system. Just like you did last year.

So tell me please, was it forbidden in other countries to vote for themselves?

Yes, but if France has a population of 67 million people, it also has bigger chances of having a great number of viewers. They knew perfectly that their country was one of the favourites and they could help themselves too. They didn't.

Problem is that there are most definitely more Polish viewers than French viewers
Own country hosting JESC, more promotion, more media coverage, more people watching, more people voting

So in the end the small amount of viewers in France were aware that they were one of the favourites but they couldn't fight the enormous viewership in Poland. That isn't so hard to understand..

not many people in france care about jesc, that shouldn't take anything away from how good the song is.

I'm not saying it isn't. It's my 2nd favourite after Poland. And this year Poland really was my favourite, unlike last year.

Have a crazy population who votes too much for itself? No, I don't think that's the solution.

Of course, but if these are the rules, what other thing can you do?

You just don't get it do you?
France has 60 milion people but only 10 000 (maybe) is interested in JESC. Poland has 38 milion people and probably 20 milion of them voted (I don't mean literally).

Lets not forget we were still second with juries. So actually Vikis result is better than Roksana.

Im quite suprised that with even being the host we couldnt put on a great staging for Song like that

Again, this is France's problem if they aren't interested.

It's all over now. Poland won with 278 points. Well done to Viki Gabor for winning with the song "Superhero". That means Poland has won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest two years running (2018 and 2019). Poland - Winners 2018, 2019. 1 year gap between wins.

Commiserations to Wales for its low placing, 18th (second-last) with 35 points. At least Wales wasn't last overall. Malta finished last with just 29 points. Still the most important thing is not to win, but to participate.

Altogether an excellent afternoon of entertainment, and what a nail-biting voting sequence. I guessed the online vote points would be announced starting with the country that had the lowest jury total, all the way up to the country that won the jury vote (Kazakhstan). This method was a vast improvement on the last two years, when the online vote was announced starting with the country that had the lowest online score up to the country with the highest online score. It must have been a shock to Kazakhstan, who, having won the jury vote, got just 79 points from the online vote, i.e. not enough to get back in the lead and win. Consequently Kazakhstan finished second overall with 227 points.
