The running order didn't kill the France, the annoying song did :D

Spain didn't have a suitable song for JESC either. They got awarded for the amazing vocals (like Kazakhstan). Kazakhstan and Spain can be proud!

"Domestic voting did it" ... gosh, seriously, everyone had the same chances. And Viki's song actually really had many fans.

The aftermath:
1. :pl: is again the winner of the contest
2. :kz: earns their best result
3. :es: earns it high
4. :mk: is finally 6th place!
5. :wale: 's highest is now 17th
6. :mt: bombs.
7. :it: is getting 64 vote points and nobody sees that coming
8. :ua:, :ie: and :al: makes me sad
9. :am: is again 9th and :by: is again 11th

Well, I couldn't care less for kids contest. But I watched the whole jesc several years ago when I was bored. The good thing is that it doesn't last so long as real esc. Poland again? Well, OK.. Two times in a row for a country to win last time happened for Ireland in 1990ies,but this is jesc. The outfit was a choice. The song was a copycat of everything. It reminded me of mendes from melfest,but it's not bad song. Kazakhstan result, hmmm. I think this is just ebu preparing us for Kazakhstan debut in near future. He reminded me of mammy from modern family. :lol: BTW, I only watched voting.

lol 3 million votes were cast this year, as opposed to just over a million last year. It's delusional to think Poland didn't win because of the domestic vote.

Polish diaspora is so strong. They are always Top 5 in the televoting bla bla... oh wait, we didn't even qualify in the last two years in ESC.

In 2017, Poland ended up being #7 in the online voting.

It really depends on the songs first - especially since you are "forced" to vote for 3 - 5 songs.

So? Spain has even more citizens. UK has much much more, could have voted for Wales. And more examples. France? Also more citizens.
