The Swedish song was nice but it didn't compare with the great level the JESC had last year.
We should be getting Albania's song this month, right?
I really hope for a good placing now, if we don´t get a decent score this time,we will probably withdraw again
In 2009 The Netherlands won and Belgium came 4th and in 2013 Malta won. I'm not saying that it isn't more difficult for Western countries to get a good place, but it's not impossible. And tbh Sweden was very overrated last year. The song was outdated, she was completely off key during the jury rehearsal, she had no eye contact with the camera and the song was the weakest and least memorable uptempo of the whole year. I still don't get it how this came 11th with the juries, only Croatia was a bigger trainwreck.Might be difficult because almost all the countries are from Eastern Europe. It's a shame that more Western countries are not interested in the contest.

I don't think so. Two last contests showed us that if your act is good, you don't need to be ex-Soviet republicMight be difficult because almost all the countries are from Eastern Europe. It's a shame that more Western countries are not interested in the contest.
Agree, and don't forget the horrible outfits that the backing singers had to wear.... we should have been punished.
