If only the song was better eh?She oozes so much star quality. Her personality shines in every movement and facial expression while hitting every single note. This is instant serotonin boost every time i listen to it. Certified summery mediterranean bop. Can this win? In a wide open year, it's not far-fetched. In theory, it's a song that can appeal consistently with both juries and viewers for its zeitgeist appeal and sometimes that's all you need.
in my very personal opinion, she has the most interesting sounding song production-wise.If only the song was better eh?
With all the worship of Sanremo, all the praise of performance, of production, of the fact that songs are in Italian...that doesn't necessarily mean the songs are that great beyond the reputation.
The part that starts 'Muoio senza morire' (and whenever it recurs with variation or not) is by far the most memorable part for me. I can feel more melody and more emotion.
The most liked comment (3.7k) on the official Eurovision video is "to people who say Italy is overrated: you deserve English boring songs' suggests someone who lives in an alternate universe where Italian popular music has dominated the airwaves for the last 100 years. There's also a certain prejudice implied, but as always that tends to come from insecure people.
Angelina in her interviews during the Madrid pre-party said that she intended to be free in the stage and have a direct contact with the fans. She also said that she's working on it immediately after winning Sanremo. The news has not yet been confirmed but it seems that choreographer Mecnun Giasar will be in charge of Angelina Mango's choreography. Mecnun has also collaborated with Madonna, BTS, Rosalía and Loreen.
She slayed also in London. She sang La Noia and Fila Indiana.Angelina was the best in both Spanish pre-parties. We have a great vocality (which ranges from rap, to a cappella singing in the most emotional part, at a catchy rhythm), an excellent charisma (perhaps she can become one of the most charismatic singers in ESC) and with a song tailor-made perfectly for her ( he is comfortable and having fun while singing). The audience really enjoyed her performances. Needless to say, she is among the favorites to win in 2024.
You're right. She changed a bit the last part in Madrid and London. But I think it's just a variation. I don't have any idea what she's going to do with the staging. She said that wanted to be free but on the other hand she also has 5 dancers and a choreographer.Observing Angelina's performances in the pre-parties I seem to have noticed that she wanted to experiment with the vocal part or at least try to arabesque the singing live There is a point where she goes on too long and varies in tone "È la cumbia della noia ". That's the only point where she convinced me the least. I hope he goes back to the old interpretation. It's perfect and doesn't need any modifications. On the staging, it's fine to expand the corps de ballet, I just hope it is put in the background because the light should remain only on Angelina. Unlike what is believed, "La Noia" is a catchy song but at the same time it behaves like a ballad (where the spotlights are focused on emotional participation, theatricality, and voice). Personal opinions obviously.
They bought the same sample, Filip Baloš himself wrote about it.Hey, did you noticed this as well ?
