And the detective that found this out: mupNow that the streak of male winners has been broken there's another streak I noticed, let's see if we can get more diversity in upcoming years about this:
2013: Marco Mengoni, 2014: Emma Marrone, 2016: Francesca Michielin, 2018: Ermal Meta and Fabrizio Moro, 2019: Alessandro Mahmoud "Mahmood", 2021: Måneskin, 2022: Mahmood again, 2023: Mengoni again, 2024: Angelina Mango...
None paid him dust. Most of us loved the song and Mahmoud. He considered one of the most innovative and contemporary artist here in Italy. It actually baffles me how the Italian people paid Mahmood dust, it would’ve probably won in Malmö
Lol, this song has literally nothing in common with Chanel, literally, nothing. "La Noia" isn't a latin pop number like "Slomo" was, the fact it's rhythmic doesn't mean it's meant to be a dancy number.
Even the music has nothing in common with Slomo: one is a modern cumbieno (which, by the way, has Colombian origins) with typical mediterranean instrumentation, the other is a latin pop song with a dance number in it. The fact two girls are singing and moving a lot on stage during the performance does not mean they are the same thing. I don't know if you dance, but it's like saying Waltz and Polka are the same thing because in both two people are dancing. Just saying.

Yes he is famous in that area, Napoli and Campania region. But it's difficult to explain it. In few words the population in that area tries to "mythifies" famous personalities (music theater film soccer) and once you become "a myth" you ll be forever and people will adore you.By the way, I don't understand the Geolier situation. Is he really popular among Italians or Neapolitans (as I observed from this thread)?
He is. He is the top seller of last year with his album "Il coraggio dei bambini", his songs are always 1st on Spotify and in the FIMI standings. So a lot of people in Italy listen to him and love him.By the way, I don't understand the Geolier situation. Is he really popular among Italians or Neapolitans (as I observed from this thread)?
