Yes, I kept my list of factors short so I didn't elaborate, what I meant wasn't referring to Rome as host city specifically, but to the duties to hold and broadcast the Jubilee-related events, which will inevitably put pressure on the budget and drain the broadcaster's resources and personnel from other projects.
The Christian Jubilee longs 1 year, starting from 24th december 2024, and RAI will be envolved mostly with documentaries and some live from St Peters square.
But we don't have to care.
It will not happen.

Angelina Mango will be performing at Radio Italia Live concert on 15th May in Milan (just a few days after ESC), with other artists from the Sanremo 2024 line-up.

Moreover, Angelina will be at Radio Zeta Future Hits Live in Rome on 31st May, another event with many Sanremo artists.

In the Croatian show the song lasted 3.06, but it should be 3.00, so it's not the Eurovision version ?

Angelina slayed again in Croatia.
All the hosts were singing La Noia
Angelina Mango is finally finding the perfect management between voice, stage presence and staging (which gives us a glimpse of a possible appeal of Mediterranean themes). I liked her humility, enthusiasm and intelligence in using these pre parties as training. I don't know what else to say, if the show on the Malmö stage will focus on her charisma and she won't have any flaws, the winning vibes are clearly audible here.

I really liked it when the Croatian public, who appreciated the whole song, became passionate about the poignant side of the song, the more emotional one. This makes us understand how many Eurofans focused on the catchy side and thus simply generalized Italy 2024. But no, Italy 2024 has not lost its stylistic signature: melody + emotionality in ballad style.

The jury member with glasses who danced like a happy child was funny. And... it just seemed to me but the Croatian male host has the same voice as Amadeus? :D:LOL:

Today it was time for :it: at the ESC kompakt songchecks 2024.

The verdict of the bloggers:

Benny - La Noia” didn’t really catch my attention at Sanremo, it’s not my kind of music either. Nevertheless, I can't deny the song's certain catchy qualities, and Angelina is a hit. I've now really listened to it and am looking forward to the staging. :7:

Berenike - This year I'm not a big fan of Italy. I don't think the song is bad and for me it's the best of the Big 5. But he's not at the top of my ESC top. I like the song's unique style - we haven't had any Cumba influences at Sanremo or ESC so far - and the summer feeling that the song radiates. I also liked Angelina Mango's naturalness in her Sanremo performances, and I hope that the Italians in Malmö don't rely on choreography that is styled down to the last detail, we already have more than enough of that this year (unfortunately, there are indications otherwise). But “La noia” doesn’t completely get me. :7:

Douze Points - The Italians simply have it good: Independent stars with airs and the willingness to attract attention coupled with creativity and talent. I can easily watch Angelina Mango for three minutes. This is entertaining even without props and without music. The song itself is original and strong, even if it wouldn't make it to my favorite playlist. :7:

Flo - Once again a track from Italy that is fun to listen to. Angelina Mango has a convincing and winning demeanor that puts you in a good mood even on bad days - chapeau for that. She should continue like this and perform in Malmö, then success will be on her side. :8:

Manu - Unfortunately, Italy is not one of my favorites this year - although I was initially very convinced that the charismatic Angelina Mango was the right person to go to the ESC. “La Noia” quickly got worn out by me personally (due to the squeaky sounds in the chorus?) and now, when listening to Annalisa’s “Sinceramente”, I have the feeling that the Italians have given up the ESC victory this year. But what do I know? Last year I wasn't impressed by "Due Vite" before the contest, and Marco blew me away with his intensity at the ESC performance. Of course, “La Noia” remains a good song overall. :7:

Max - “La Noia” is truly unique and Angelina Mango is probably my discovery as an artist this year. The song has highs, lows, variety, rhythm, cool lyrics and also a great performer in Angelina. Who would have thought that Italy would eventually come with Latin elements? The song has been playing up and down for me since the win at Sanremo. There is no more to be said. :12:

Peter - It's all in the mix. This year the fusion of intelligent text messages (in wonderful Italian) and instrumentation has (almost) never been as successful as in “La Noia”. And I really like that Colombian Cumba elements are woven into the powerful Italopop song. Added to this is Angelina's relaxed power woman charisma and the always convincing Sanremo drive, which radiates an aura of its own. :12:

Rick - Latin vibes from Italy… I think it’s great. Even though the song initially sounds like South America, the overall package totally fits Italy and Angelina's attitude. I love the production and style of the song in general. A really cool contribution that also works outside of the ESC and shows how diverse Italy's music landscape is. It gets me – TOTALLY! :12:

Not bad at all I would say. It's impossible to please to everyone.
