Finally managed to listen to the Sanremo Giovani songs - many wonderful newcomers as always! My favorite songs are:

SANTI FRANCESI – Occhi tristi
Nausica – Favole
Fellow – Alieno
Grenbaud – Mama

I especially hope that the first two will make it to Sanremo! Especially "Occhi tristi" wold make it on to the top of my list!
Since I will watch FiK tonight, I will rewatch SG later tomorrow. But I wish all the newcomers best of luck!

All the critics agree that they have the best song. The lower vote was a 7.
I will do a lot of zapping tonight trying to watch both Fik and SR Giovanni.

Bernadette, Sanremo Giovani starts tomorrow, then all the artists will reveal the titles of their songs and by the meddle of January the press will listen once all the songs. The day later will have all the reviews and votes given by the critics and journalists. So after that we'll have an idea who are the real favourites.

Now I rewatched the performances from last night, and I am really happy that Santi Francesi made it. I don't care much about the other two, rather wished that Nausica would have made it. She was incredible!
Now that there are so many fantastic names among the Sanremo contestants - can't wait for February to come!

Loredana's song title is a thing..I hope she will rock.
I'm really glad Santi Francesi got through, I'm sure they will slay in February.
I loved how Diodato was presented. They showed when Fai Rumore was acclaimed as winner, Diodato singing alone at Arena di Verona and him singing in Torino22. I adore Fai Rumore and i feel a bit anxious about his new song.
A lot will happen in February.

Geolier has surpassed Alessandra Amoroso in betting odds.
I'm not sure he's going to have the favour of the press-radio-web jury but from the public yes. Lazza last year did a good job but Marco's masterpiece killed the race from the beginning.
It's to early but I wouldn't dislike at all to have a neapolitan rapper with a strong ethnic song as our rappresentative.
