The Maneskin are what the ESC needed to reinforce the enthusiasm of the public Furthermore, the victory of the Rock genre and of a "protesting song" is igniting the fervor in many artists who in the next editions will be more dedicated to experimentation

Same here. I add to those 'Torna a Casa' and 'Moriro da Re'. They're playing in my head constantly. Such great songs.

It's been a while since I got hooked on a band's full discography. It happened with The National, Interpol and Arctic Monkeys. But that was ages ago.

The last time I got hooked on sth was hearing the intro of Use somebody and the voice of Caleb Folowill, almost 10 years ago, in 2 am while MTV was playing in the back of some gang hang out. And then got to know all Kings of Leon songs.

But the very last time I got hooked on sth was hearing Vic's riff and the Loro non sanno di che parlo intro, accidentaly clicking the YT video ... And the rest is history.

Hahahaha! Partially agree.

It is by far the least complex simple banger with nice recipe for a contest. But it is still darn amazing. And a brave choice for Sanremo as melodics of the song are not commercial (too grungy).

Almost all songs on Teatro d'ira are better than Shut up and good, apart from I wanna be your slave. That song is amusing, but it is very very intentionally commercial.

But that only speaks of other songs, not Zitti e buoni alone.

I read people commenting on a recent interview they gave. Apparently, Damiano said that they'd start focusing more on English lyrics.

Hope they don't abandon the Italian altogether. It wouldn't make sense. They don't need English written songs for people to connect with them, as shown in the past weeks. Actually, it makes them stand out.

I rather enjoy their Italian songs much more. 'I wanna be your slave' is a great banger, but the lyrics per say... not so much

Damiano writes much more meaningful stuff in his mother language. Obviously. Really hope they don't feel pushed to go full English.
