AND NOW...A SLIGHTLY HUMANIZING ANECDOTE FROM THE LIFE OF LAVIEENROSE

So I'm putting together a playlist, and I had my list in a word document and was transferring it to Spotify but lost my place and added "Soldi" twice, resulting in this happy accident:

Wow, it got a 8,8 average score by Wiwibloggs, wonder if that's the highest ever...?

I think I've said it before but what I love about Italy is the fact that their entries are so strong every year but the songs never feel like genuine attempts to win Eurovision by any means :D

Nope, in ESC-songs it´s still Euphoria who got 9,25

Maybe that's the reason why their entries are truer to the artist's nature and instead of trying to make a song to win the Eurovision. And given the artists play more emphasis in winning San Remo rather than thinking trying to win San Remo just to get a ticket to represent Italy in Eurovision, which sorts of explain why their entries are non-Eurovision formulaic.

all true.

little curiosity. the queen of Italian music, MINA, can be the artistic director of the next festival of sanremo (the 70th edition).
Mina will never appear on stage or show up, but will select the songs.
This artist has not appeared in public for more than 40 years, on TV, in magazines etc ...
Mina's son told an interview in an Italian newspaper that this would be possible.
it would be a nice shot!
this is the only appearance available, from 2001, after it disappeared in the late 70s.
All live

She got a lot of hate and she got censored several times when she was famous in Italy around 60s and 70s. She also lost some of her familly members and after all that she disappeared to Switzerland but she is still active.

in my opinion (especially with the performance of gabbans) the Eurovision does not value the exhibition from a technical point of view.
Especially the audio and the shooting are sometimes not up to par, the audio for the size of the auditorium, the direction because it is too fast and pop.
It is undeniable that the live performance of Gabbani in Sanremo was from a technical point of view (audio ,video, lights) perfect but not at the Eurovision.
I don't say this because I'm Italian, I noticed it in general
Consider also the general aspect of the exhibition

SANREMO

EUROVISION

The Sanremo version is indeed better than de Eurovision version. But the song in Sanremo also wasn't cut yet and I like Francesco's appearance better in Sanremo. (Still my favourite that year.)
But I think sometimes songs do even better on the stage of Eurovision than on other stages, for example the Common Linnets. Or Fuego. So it's a little bit of luck and good staging what can improove the song.
For Italy this year, I can not imagine yet that this song on a big stage can do well, but I am surprised many times before!
