The cut is good, this is not a Gabbani scenario. Who first hear the song would never notice anything strange.

If this is the real version, the cut is very good, almost the same version. I would be very happy if it's real !

There were different instrumental versions being played (ex.: Sanremo Young performance, Radio Italia) but I don't remember them saying they would bring a modified track at ESC

I would love to see the Eurovision in Italy (tuned in for the return in 2011 to become a fan), I just don't know if this is a good year for a shot to it... I don't want to delude myself. I would be happy with Netherlands, Switzerland or Sweden win too. Thank you anyway

For me, Mahmood deserves to win this contest but we all know who is gonna win this. Unfortunately the jury never gives points to Italy.

Yeah, juries awarded our return, but since then their judgment has totally changed... now televote give us more in most of cases

Yes you're right ! By example for me, Ermal Meta and Fabrizio Moro was not as good as Mahmood, but they really didn't deserve to be 17th. But thanks to the jury they ended 5th. But anyhow, I wish Mahmood a long carreer in Italy and everywhere else cause he deserves it so much.

Except from the years 2011, 2012 and 2018 the juries and the televoter has overall agreed on the italian entries. Less than 5 placements difference really is not a lot. I agree that in 2015 the difference between the jury votes and the televotes felt very very unfair though (I still get mad thinking about that result) - but I am pretty sure that there is no statistical trend to claim that the juries in general dont reward Italy.
Italy will win the jury this year,or go very very close.Italy are winning ESC,or they are taking enough away from the Netherlands to open the door for the likes of Russia to win on the televote.There could be a few dark horses in the pack that might come out with superb staging.Netherlands can win of course,but its probably over rated and there to be shot down.Its a fascinating year.

Yes, you're right we never know what is gonna happen in the end, also because of the staging but I feel Netherland will win. I felt the same for Israel last year.
But the ranking can change "drasticly", maybe it's not gonna be 1.Netherland 2. Switzerland/Russia 3.Sweden but it's gonna be 1.Netherland 2.Malta 3.Iceland etc.
but of course I want personaly Mahmood for the win.
