This song is meh for me too.
Mahmood got 14,1% of televote system, that's it. Il Volo got 39,4% and Ultimo 46,5%. Italians chose Ultimo but juries have to ruin everything like they always do.
That's why I am done with Juries a long time ago.

what are some of you smoking? Ultimo's song is one of the few I've heard and I think it's a big fat nothing. I can't even be bothered to muster any feelings his song properly it because there is nothing present to like or dislike.
To be fair I wasn't too keen on Loredana either (because i just can't with her sister, whom I find *utterly terrifying*. 'Rhapsodia" is what I imagine Mia Martini's actual death was like because she certainly looked as though she was about to die at any moment. Macabre), but I find it hilarious that the audience was OUTRAGED by the top three and BOOED the F3 in defence of their favourite sea-haired siren.

On a more poitive note, I really like the winner! "Soldi" is a really good song and i think it could become one of my faves at Eurovision, with the caveat that Mahmood gets some backings and *maybe* an act? But he's already good as is and he WILL do really well as he's a man from Italy, so there's that at least.

When I heard Mahmood got 14 % and Il Volo and Ultimo got much much more I thought I was going to hate it. Soldi was not only the best song of the night, but is also the best song so far this year according to me

So I had to do some work last night and sleep so I wasn't able to see the show - Ultimo or Il Volo were my winner, but it was a pleasant surprise that Mahmood won although I can't give the song more than a 7 for now. It has a good beat and it continues Italy's streak with sending strong entries ever since they return, but this song did never grab me completely. I'll give it some more listens. I think Italy will do well regardless what my opinion about the song is

And I think the strength of Italy in ESC is that it doesn't seem like their entries are made to win Eurovision, which I very much appreciate - this song definitely follows the pattern I believe so I want to upgrade my score to 8 points just because of it
And when Italy sends a man they usually do very well in televote, so I'm not concerned about this really - question will be staging because I can't think in my head how they will stage it in Tel Aviv. I bet the Italians will do it classy though

I didn't like Mahmood's song the first time. With the passing of the days, only during the last one his song came into my head like the music of the gameboy pokemon games ahah it is surely addictive and requires some listenings.
I'm happy he's representing us. It's different and the opposite of the typical Sanremo winning song (much like Occidentali's Karma was in 2017). Fascinating that he has Arabic roots and goes to Eurovision in Tel Aviv. The arabic line is powerful, mysterious and exotic.

The song is all about the lyrics 
but I can't connect to the artist and his vocals, quite annoying tbh, the melody and building just not my thing.
A song I don't feel the desire of listening to it again until May, if I'm not having a toilet break.
