If they'll all be there, I believe in a three horses race between Alessandra Amoroso, Arisa and the always good Francesco Renga (does anyone remember La tua bellezza here?)

I think Alessandra would be a a huge contender for the podium unless the jury turned their nose's up at her.Arisa could do the double as well.She won a very weak year,but was 2nd in a very strong year.La Notte was a wonderful song.Arisa sounds like a mouse,but then floors you with her amazing voice.I get the feeling RAI really need a big star winning with ESC going to RAI1.Conti will know he cant risk a poor result.Roll on Sunday and the Campioni,

In the meantime, Chiara seems to be out of Sanremo 2016, too. This should lead to Francesca Michielin into the field.
Alessandra Amoroso is joking with her fans with the slow reveal of a thing which seems to be the cover of her new album. It's not sure, but it's a possibility. Now - it's all on the release date. If it's an album, and if it's in Sanremo dates, then we can say that she's in. Otherwise, she won't be in.

I think you might be right on Francesca.Her career seems to be slowly sliding a bit so a SR would be seen as a boost.With Giusy Ferreri looking out Sony might really want Alessandra in.No doubt Conti would want her if he could get her in.

We can consider Alessandra Amoroso OUT of any Sanremo&Eurovision talk for this year in a nearly official way.
She will release her album on 15h Jan 2016, with some live concerts in Milan and Rome in May.
Italy loses a candidate. Now I'm really starting to fear a name I would never want there. And which I don't even want to let you all know.

I don't name him. If some Italians are still brave enough to use his name... he's basically the one who wrote the Italian song for Junior Eurovision 2015.

Anyway, I'm quite confident that we won't need to be represented by this... person... at Eurovision.

I'm also Italian (eventhough I was born and raised in Croatia), but that doesn't mean I support everything Italy sends. This year I hated "Grande Amore" (and I still hate it) and there was nothing to make me support that song. But let's wait Sunday and Conti's announcement, can we?
