rai facebook have open a poll what italian singer wanto to rapresented Italy at esc 2014, if you have a facebook profile you can ad your favorite italian singer

I voted for Emma, Daniele Silvestri, Fabri Fibra, and Gianna Nannini, although I'd prefer the first two really. Non E L'Inferno is an amazing belter of a song, and I love Il Bisogno di Te and Gino E L'Alfetta. They both have such interesting styles that would go very well on a stage like Eurovision.

Well iv voted for Annalisa and Malika Ayane,,,Annalisa is in my opinion the best artist in Europe at the moment. Her Non so Ballare album is incredible.
She has what it takes to win ESC.Malika drips class and is a very special artist indeed. Her songs though might not suit ESC.With the right song though shed have a great chance.
Iv said before I think Italina music is the best in Europe at the moment and I hope this year they really put the effort in to ESC and stage the artist right.

Me too! I would love either Annalisa Scarrone or Malika Ayane. But the chances of any singer going to Sanremo two years in a row are very slim.

BTW, Annalisa has been chosen for the OGAE contest. In 2010 OGAE Italy chose Nina Zilli and 2 years later she was chosen for ESC, so let's hope that it's a good omen for Annalisa. xyaay

Another singer of the most appreciated by the eurofans (I'm right, I hope :?) and by me of course, has just released her new song with Raf:

Nathalie has just released her new album. You can listen to it here (I hope it's possible also for non-italians):

She also said she'll try to be in next Sanremo Festival. ;)

Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision: ITALY: ANNALISA WITH ALICE E IL BLU FOR OGAESC 2013

That's really interesting Franco thankyou.Seems Annalisa might be starting to really be considered.Maybe this year Italy wont select from the San Remo. Its a fantastic festival but no reason the ESC entry has to be at San Remo that year.

I think one of the best winners ever was Gigliola for Italy in 1964 in Denmark.Annalisa is the modern Gigiola to me in that shes the most contemporary artist in Europe.Id love a repeat for Italy next year in Copenhagen):p

She was an incredible winner Gigliola. When you watch it now and to think all footage was nearly lost. She was so contemporary.Even today she sounds fresh and new.

Italy need to be inspired by 1964.This time make sure they stage the song right and go for the win.Marco was fantastic but would of been even better with acoustic instruments on stage.Nina the same,,a sax on stage etc.

The staging was a let down.Nina shouting Europe I cant hear you was a very bad idea,it ruined things and with the deep sax jazzy sound they really slipped up not having instruments on stage.Marco was the same.Acoustic instrument backing would of really helped and increased the jury score.

Italy have sent superb artists the last two years and were both very classy but they need to stage better. They need to make the best presentation as well as sending top quality acts.

Sorry I don't know who she is ..... but I definitely remember Raf.... for some 30 years ago (I still have the Maxi-singel record some-were. He did participate in ESC back in the time were everyone who smell like the ESC representative from Italy was called either Romina Power or Al Bano :)
