I saw people talking about "La mia città". I think she's better than this. It's just an OK song, I prefer a powerful ballad instead, where she can show her 100%.

I just hope they don't change their minds as to the choice of song. Ukraine and Belarus are notorious in that field, but I shall per sempre remember what they did in 2012

You just solved my mystery of the day! While I was listening Non El'Inferno by Emma I was sooo sure that I have heard it somewhere, by some male singer. I checked the lately released Marco Mengoni album, maybe that's where this song is presented, but no...
I am having Mihalis album "I agapi Dinamonei" in my computer since the day it was released...so, that's where the song is familiar to me Thank you!

You have to know that "Non è l'inferno" is considered the worst Emma's song, by her fans too (I think it's terrible, not for the sound but for the lyrics, the social theme is dealed in a terrible way).
It's amazing for me reading that many (not italian) people say that it's a masterpiece

Italy goes quality once again! What a return to the ESC! They will be sending yet another really good artist to the ESC. I am so happy to see that established/popular artists are representing their country.
I will wait to hear Emma's song to give my opinion on Italy 2014. But as for the artist chosen I am all for it.

Now I can only hope that they will decide not to send La mia città. It's just so bland in comparison with her other songs. I love a lot of her songs and I would be so angry if they choose this song. Just to mention, it's not that I don't like La mia citta, but it's just OK in comparison with her other masterpieces.
