I admire how Italy works for Eurovision. I mean, they've been for only three years after a long period of absence and they send the best they have every year (well, except Raphael Gualazzi maybe). Italy is a country where apparently most people don't give a s*it about Eurovision and still many famous artists want to go, while other countries (Spain, UK,.....etc) have nice audience ratings, but well known artists don't even think about ESC.

Well,every year is getting better and better.
In 2011 it was their comeback so it was ok to have their winner of San Remo of young singers.
In 2012 it was Nina,she is quite popular.
In 2013 it was Marco,he is a huge star.
And in 2014 Emma.Same as Marco.Plus they will show both Semis in Rai4.
Also i have to say that every year they have different style of song !

It's interesting indeed to see Italy's approach to ESC, now I personally think their entries since comeback have been overrated, but nevertheless they are still putting much more effort than other "Big"-countries and this with one of the least audience interest in the contest of all countries.

Emma was selected for ESC in 2012 after the winning of Sanremo but her music label said that she wasn't ready for it
It's amazing reading foreign people's opinion about her and about italian music, I've never tought that singers like Emma or Annalisa (I love her too) were so appreciated!

This has got me much more excited for ESC 2014. She should have gone to ESC with the masterpiece that was "Non e L'inferno", now she gets a bite at the ESC cherry. I'll until official confirmation on the song, but I'm really excited about this!

My favourite artists at the moment are Italian and yet I don't speak any,though I am learning some from the songs,
I was at the supermarket petrol station in Newcastle in northern England with Annalisa playing in the car and someone said "whos that",oh its Annalisa Scarrone Non Cambiare Mai
I had hoped for Nali this year,or Malika Ayane,but Emma is a great artist and il look forward to her song and performance and of course support her as an Englishman with Nali,Malika,Dolcenera and now Emma playing in his car and house all the time

Maybe you will make a UK vote different in ESC one day, to vote for a bit different countries and entries they use to vote now.. UK is one of 3 countries that didn't give a single point to our winner "Molitva" in 2007, you actually never vote us.. Did you like Marco Mengoni last year?

I really liked Marco last year,it was a fantastic song.They should of staged better though with instruments on stage.Nina was the same,great song but poor staging.
I always vote for who I think is best.Last year I voted for Denmark as I liked it best and we gave them 12 points.I also really liked the Serbian girls.The delegation got the staging all wrong for them though.Delegations fault,not the girls who I thought were great.
Emma should be another top 10 for Italy,and with the right song maybe/probably a challenger.
