Very good choice from Italy - Emma has a great voice and is a great personality.
I really can imagine her winning in Copenhagen (with the right song of course).

Of course playing to the camera is important for Eurovision but at the same time playing to the audience in the arena is important too. If the crowd inside go wild for someone (especially non host or neighbor country) the viewers at home will take notice too and make the performance more memorable ;)

I can't wait to hear Emma's "Non ho l'età" cover xheart. It's great to see Italy remembering and honoring their first victory on its anniversary by bringing the Eurovision past and future together xcheer

If "La mia citta" is the song for Eurovision, I think Italy has a really good chance of winning.

I'm really happy for this country. Since its return, Italy has given nothing but really good songs :)

I like Emma (who doesn't?) but I don't like La mia citta. I think it's an ok song but not a winning one...and Emma has great potential, so, I hope that won't be the song.

I'm completely against the current here :lol:
I don't really like her other songs very much (at least the ones I've heard) and from what I've seen I don't even find Emma a particularly charismatic singer (like Nina Zilli was, for instance). I just think she's energetic and a very good vocalist.
I do love Mia Città though and think it can do very well, so naturally I'm overjoyed with the choice. We should all be pleased about Itally's return, quality every single year!
