I honestly don't know what to rate this yet. It's weird to go from total love and adoration of "Per Sempre" to the total indifference I feel towards "L'amore è femmina". I think it's the biggest shame to change a song that evoked such strong feelings inside of people to a very normal slice of pop-soul. I mean if the song was something special then maybe but it's really not. Biggest shame and disappointment of this years contest. Nina Zilli herself though is a wonderful, charismatic performer so thats my hope, that I can be won around by her hypnotising ways.

Well, "Per sempre" lyrics are more touching. Seems to me that she describes 2 different ways to try to be a strong woman.
In "Per sempre" she fights pride n pain for her impossible love. In "L'amore è femmina" she holds on to her dignity.
Btw the song's title gets more meaning if you know that in Italian language there are no neutral nouns. Everything is just male or female. The word AMORE (love) is male.

Per sempre was a great, classy song. I really liked it although L'amore è femmina works for me as well. I hope it remains in Italian.

I also secretly would like to hear this song in english as well as I might gain something from it because as a piece of music it does nothing for me, unlike Per Sempre that would uplift me and move me with each listen. From the translation the lyrics at least appear quite interesting. Id like to ditch my bitter Per Sempre fan mindset as I love Nina Zilli but still can't yet as the new song just leaves me soo cold Dammit I really want to support Nina..

Ahhh that would make sense then. I must do some research on the song. It sounds very much like a song that would be on Dionne Bromfield's (Amy Winehouse's god daughter's) 2nd album. It's a very light pop soul song. I think it's too poppy for Nina. Goodness do I love her though, since Per Sempre was revealed I ordered both her albums. It's just a shame a song im not keen on is going to Eurovision. I love her personality and charisma. I don't even know what shes saying but shes hypnotising me when im watching that video!

In what way are these "good news"!? It's just a proof that Italy will send one of those entries in English to ESC (so it seems it won't even be partly Italian any longer).

And you know... changing the language will also change the song so even if it'll be "Per Sempre" it'll still be a "new" song.

Dear god yes theres hope!!! I will literally cry tears of joy if she goes back to "Per Sempre". Something in my heart told me the change of song didnt feel right and now Nina has comfirmed it. She wants to perform "Per Sempre" and who wouldnt to be honest. Incredible song.
