Dear god yes theres hope!!! I will literally cry tears of joy if she goes back to "Per Sempre". Something in my heart told me the change of song didnt feel right and now Nina has comfirmed it. She wants to perform "Per Sempre" and who wouldnt to be honest. Incredible song.

However it won't be "Per Sempre" as we know it, those news more or less confirms an all-English version for ESC (no matter which song)

And you know... changing the language will also change the song so even if it'll be "Per Sempre" it'll still be a "new" song.

I know, but it's a lesser evil. As for now, there is still hope to have "Per sempre" (or "Forever") in the contest, at the cost of a (hopefully faithful) translation of the lyrics.

I don't agree, I'd rather keep this entry in Italian than having "Per sempre" in English.

Bringing back "Per Sempre" = GREAT idea

To do it in 100% English = BAD idea

Why not do a 50% Italian and 50% English version? it worked well last year for Raphael Gualazzi.

Thats very sad obviously although Nina Zilli's english is perfect at least. Id just be delighted to have the song back as it evoked feelings inside of me I hadnt felt since "Et Sil Fallait Le Faire". I was looking forward to the english version of "Per Sempre" anyway although of course id rather she would sing it in italian if she were to take it to the Eurovision stage.

I know, it won't be will it The music will still be there, Nina will still be there but the beautiful italian language won't. I do not understand why they would want to go full english for the performance. I feel absolutely nothing for "L'amore è femmina" though and that is such a great shame after weeks of falling in love with Nina and her music.. so I would take "Per Sempre" back with open arms whatever the language.

But they've still not decided, so it remains to be seen what they're gonna do. If they're smart they'll make a 50/50 version. (in my opinion 100% Italian would work fine in this song, but I can understand their strategic thinking). Hopefully they read these forums too.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I prefer L'Amore e Femmina over Per Sempre, although both are good entries.
