Wow I can't express how disappointed I am. I honestly cannot understand the mindset behind this change. Per Sempre was such a special song.. nostalgic, poignant. This new choice is to put it kindly as I very much like Nina Zilli, very album filler. I can't believe how crushed I feel. Falling in love with Per Sempre, being told it might not be Per Sempre after all then the pure delight of being told it was.. to now being told it isnt Per Sempre after all

L'Amore È Femmina (Love Is Female) is written by Nina herself along with Christian Rabb, Kristoffer Sjokvist, Frida Molander and Charlie Mason.

Lol... seems you only highlighted one of the Swedes in there. Frida Molander is for sure Swedish aswell, maybe even Christian Rabb.

Per qualcuno sarà una doccia fredda, qualcun altro sarà invece felice di questa scelta: quando tutto sembrava ufficializzato e definitivo, ecco che si cambia e, come facilmente intuibile dal nostro titolo, non sarà Per Sempre il brano con cui Nina Zilli ci rappresenterà a Baku. Alla finale del 26 Maggio dell’Eurovision Song Contest non ritroveremo il brano sanremese, ma L’Amore è Femmina! La richiesta di cambio da quel che ci è dato sapere, è arrivata direttamente “dall’alto”, dalla sede inglese della Universal (l’etichetta appunto di Nina Zilli) e il 19 sarà questo il brano (in versione bilingue, se i tempi lo permetteranno, italiano/inglese) che verrà consegnato ‘fisicamente’ all’EBU. Il pezzo che ha dato il nome all’album di Nina Zilli potrebbe potenzialmente diventare anche il tormentone della prossima estate. Sicuramente è un brano che si presta bene alla platea eurovisiva, immediato e molto orecchiabile. Non ci resta che aspettare il 26 Maggio per scoprire cosa ne penserà il pubblico europeo. Di seguito una recente intervista di Nina Zilli, in cui spiega il significato di questo brano.

Well they had to cut PS to 3 minute song and they even tried to translate it to English but I guess it did not work.
I would have prefered PS in Italian language and in original duration.
I guess we should ask EBU to change time rule to at least 3:30 limit so more songs would be acceptable.

It says that the decision to change the song came from Universal HQ in UK. It's completely out of our hands. We have no voice in choosing our entry.
