Well they had to cut PS to 3 minute song and they even tried to translate it to English but I guess it did not work.

That's my thought aswell, but c'mon, it can't be impossible? It's been done in the past with good results (I mean making a longer entry shorter for ESC).

It says that the decision to change the song came from Universal HQ in UK. It's completely out of our hands. We have no voice in chosing our entry.

Now that's just random!! I bet the song will be in English then (or atleast partly). Italian song or British!? Now this if anything is a proof of Anglovision take-over Eurovision.

I much prefer this to the other song but I know a lot of you are going to be sad it's changed - anyway good luck to Italy with this new song - I really like it!

The song change didn't make any difference for me in this case because both songs are utterly dull. 1 point only for L'amore É Femmina.

Italy used to be so good back in the day.

I'm disappointed with the new choice. An excellent opportunity has now been wasted.

I don't dislike the new song, I like it. But Per Sempre is a song of the special, more unique type.

I can't understand how some people can call Per Sempre a "borefest"?? (maybe totally desensitized by the modern era stuff?)

Italy really had a shot at the #1 spot this year.

Italy, you're such a smart girl, love you!
Come on, Per Sempre would never win, that's not a song you remember from the first seconds you hear it, when Nina was singing it at San Remo i was playing a computer game and only looked at her when she was finishing it, nothing about this song that caught my attention, absolutely nothing. Nina is special, not Per Sempre.
On the other hand, i fell in love with L'amore e'femmina from the very first second and was very upset when they didn't pick it.
