You've send another Eden with a great voice and you've only given her mediocre songs to sing. Israel's track record for picking good songs isn't good. Your track record in general isn't great, your delegation just isn't competent, something we have in common.
Also Eurovision isn't "TheVoice" you won't win by having a good singer alone, other countries have those too.
Also it's already quite certain that Israel won't win the jury vote this year. They will try to not look politically motivated just like 2022. And you also certainly won't landslide the televote like Ukraine in 2022. Not with Croatia, Netherlands and Italy in the ring with their entries and Israel simply doesn't have the same support Ukraine has.
Looking at polls, sympathy for Israel is sinking constantly across Europe (link to a german site might need to translate).
That poll is already 3 months old. So 8 months later it won't be any better. Most supporters of Israel hate muslims and terrorists, but don't feel any connection towards Israel since you are
pretty foreign for most Europeans. A lot of people are also pretty uncertain and don't really actively "root" for anyone and just want the violence to end (like me).
If Bashar was still there people would've likely voted more for Israel out of spite, but he's not there, so that's gone.
But that's still a reasonable demand tho?
Queer people in homophobic host countries should be able to make the same demands and not be forced to resign because EBU can't be arsed to protect them. Sure the Israel situation is more extreme, but still. If the EBU wants them to participate they have to make sure they are safe and if they can't and don't want to make it sure, then they should kick them out beforehand. Can't have your cake and eat it too. If you want Eden in Malmö, keep her safe
