“Rakata” is brilliant in it’s own way..those African elements are so for me..
In combination with Middle East music, it fills me with joy..I imagine I’m in deserts of Eritrea, Djibouti…That music from 02:30 is smth I have never heard at ESC..

Then comes “Roots” which is so daring IMO, yes everybody think it is similar to Netta Barzilai, bit do I dig Netta, she is my fave winner recently..

“Savior in the Sound” is combination of classic ballad and eurodance which works so good with her smooth yet so strong voice..it builds marvelous..I have a feeling this can shine live..

And finally “Feker Libi” again African vibes + euro dance, but this time more Ethiopian than Eritrea and Djibouti who are more Muslim oriented..and the kicks the “Golden boy” chorus…

Will depend on live, for now is really hard for me to rank…

A very interesting selection from Israel.

I just admit I dont care too much for Savior in the Sound.
The chorus of Roots just dont work for me. Trying to be Nettaesque?
But then - Rakata sets in! My interest is awakened from the firt lines. I love the mix of different sounds, and this dont fall into the trap of trying catering to the ESC fans only.
And the Feker Libi, and again I love the oriental sounds and parts here. The african influence adds more to the song.

Both the two last songs are more about rhytms and sound that the melody - but that's ok (just dont ask me to sing along - I am not able to hum a single part of any of the two songs after only 2 listenings).

I will be very happy with any of the two last entries.
