Shame Israel's cheating cost us a top 5 but this is still an amazing result!

- EDIT - Yes, Israel beat Ireland in the UK tele vote, that seems totally believable...if you're going to cheat Israel at least make it believable, not that it matters as we know the EBU wont do anything about it.

Let's hope this marks a milestone in Ireland's trajectory in the contest and a lesson for RTÉ. With the appropriate work, great results can be achieved! Super congratulations, Ireland xcheer

Can they represent Ireland every single year from now?

I was reluctant to vote and finance the corrupt EBU but I just couldn’t resist the urge with this beautiful angel disguised as a devil xlove

I would take them any day over the devils disguised as angels.

Ireland making it to the Top 10 with something as alternative and edgy as THIS after soooo many years of NQing feels like a fever dream.

I will forever love Bambie for the way they unapologetically repped the Trans flag in a time where Alt-Right and Right-wing anti-LGBT Populism is growing as well as how the performance was ended with "Love will always trump hate" xheart. Enbies (non-binary people) can be proud of both them and Nemo after last night.

This one conflicts me. I LOVE the presentation, I LOVE me some punks and rebels and I LOVE that Ireland got their best result in nearly a quarter of a century by sending a daring concept artist that wasn't trash.
However, the more I got to see interviews with Bambie Thug the harder it became to root for them. There is something very entitled and unnecessarily ego-driven in their attitude that turns me way off (and I mostly agree with their agenda). May they be able to ride this way of success and may that be a start for a new era of success for Ireland (because we all know that they need to get that 8th win for obvious reasons. :sneaky:)
May Bambie get some realization that the world and the moon are not only turning around them.

I, unfortunately, agree. Like I mostly agree with the content of what they're saying but when it comes to their demeanour it just comes off as a bit snobbish.

Thank you my dear Ireland for sending Bambie Thug xrose:ie: Their creativity, their performance, their bravery has, as cringe as it maybe sounds, had a huge impact on my life and I got my family to vote for them xheart Off to buy me a Bambie tote bag now as we speak xheart

A great result, very excited to see what influence this will have on next year's entries, and if Ireland is gonna continue to send anything worthwhile.

lol, it’s Bambie‘s pro-Palestine agenda that got you points at all. Most votes for Ireland were politically motivated too!
That is the common mindset among such people. It is all the "Zionists"/Israels fault.
Bambi cried, when she found out that Israel qualified. I wonder how she reacted, when she found out, that Israel got 10 pts from Ireland´s televote and 12 from the UK.

Did it come to your mind, that the votes for Israel were not cheating but simply a political statement by people who are not keen on the keffyieh-claden mixture of far-leftists and Islamists taking over the streets and heckling other opinions or simply do not like H@m@ss rapists supporters?
Btw, Ireland gave Israel 10pts in the televote, i had a good laugh about it.
