I don't know. The actual song is not memorable to me. The vocals are a bit underwhelming too.

Yes, she looks great, love the outfits and the staging. But I don't know if that's enough.
The issue here is you are thinking because you don't like the song/performance that the rest of Europe also wont, this is where the difference between objectivity and subjectivity comes into play.

I am only giving my opinion and think the vocals/song combo are too weak for it to qualify. I could be completely wrong :)

Vocals? Most of the vocals in the performance are the backing track. And that's not a criticism, I've watched the jury rehearsal leak and most of the countries are utilizing the backing vocals heavily. The vocals will not be an issue with Ireland.

The performance is one of the best I have seen in Eurovision. Truly nailed it and I can't imagine Ireland not finishing in the top 3 in this semi.

Well, I was not comparing Bambie's entry with Ryan's one (sorry, I can't write his surname correctly), but I just can't imagine a road to victory for them. This staging is a great surprise and it will probably guarantee Ireland a top 10, but I think their momentum is quite overrated: to me, Israel and France have more chances to win than Ireland

A bipolar song with an interesting music video and who doesn't like petrichor? 8 points.

Prob an unpopular opinion but I dislike this 'crown the witch' thing, might be good PR but personally I find it a bit cringe

I am fine with it as a social media thing, something to get people talking and showing their support. But the fact that it is part of the performance rubs me the wrong way slightly. Feels a tad self-important.

You've summed up my unease better than I did myself

I am happy Bambi got through, but their vocals were a little off for me. Sounded to me like nerves, as in the rehearsal clips we have seen they have been largely fine. Hopefully, they get that under control for the finals.

How can your vocals be off while you scream? The "quiet" parts sounded fine to me.

It was in the quieter parts I am referring to. Something felt a bit off, maybe the timings on some moments, sometimes flicking into a more theatric delivery periodically then dropping it. I was listening with headphones so that may be why things felt a little off to me.

Camera work and staging was awesome. Great. The softer parts dissapointed me a bit vocally. But still, great job and happy to see it in the final.

And most of all I'm happy for the biggest Irish ESC-fan ever @MopManMoss
