It's catchy, but it begun quite blandly. Lipstick is better IMO.

I hate how RTE doesnt broadcast in Scotland (it should because half the people here are irish) I'll listen to all the entries later on yt

Yeah, this year for me it sounds like Jedward have become a crappy boy band rather than a novelty act. And I agree that Mistaken is indeed for the win, but no way does it actually win the Irish NF.

Jedward are going to win, it'll take a miracle for them not to. But this song is a lot less catchy and instant than Lipstick.
Other than that I like the songs by the Mc's - McCool and McCaul.

Jedward song had absolutely no impact on me. I only remember I was left with the impression it was some bland song by an unknown American boy band. Donna's song is way better, not amazing, but great and is far more memorable, as well as catchier. Haven't heard the other 3 yet.

None of the songs are terrible bad but neither good enough to be memorable...I'm gonna say my favorite was "Language of Love", was the only one more or less interesting

I love Mistaken, it's very nice and Irish but I would have a) preferred it as Gaeilge and b) liked it a lot more spookier/creepier like Nocturne or The Voice than what it is
Mercy is class, coming from Donna McCaul. It's fantastic and I think it would do brilliant at the Eurovision, but it's obviously going to be defeated by Jedward.
Onto Jedward, it's ****, even by their standards. It's not got the raw energy as Lipstick and that's the only thing that swung it for them last year. They're going to win in Dublin but pull a Dustin in Baku.
The man singing on his own is awful, I'm not even going to comment on it.
The duet is awful too, I skipped into the middle of it and heard love shine a light and nearly killed myself cringing, it couldn't be more obvious they're trying some kind of Hallelujah/Love Shine a Light/Running Scared thing in a poppy way
