This is a good pop song and it has a very interesting performance. It's also pretty catchy but somehow still didn't grow on me.Maybe it's one of the songs I'll end up loving when I see them on ESC stage in May in all their glory.

it's perfect song, radio-friendly but in a good way. I can't wait to see her on stage in Stockholm

I haven't listened to this for... weeks. But I guess this was good, since now I'm more in love with it than ever. xheat Although one thing does still bother me a bit about this. I sometimes feel like it's, sort of too much, I can't catch a breath when I listen to it. Also, I feel like it tries too hard to be this epic dramatic mysterious song whilst still being accessible to everyone and that makes it lose it's authenticity and... I better stop, before I make myself hate it again.

I dont mind this song. Hopefully it will get through the semi finals. I keep thinking of another song from years gone by, but can't put my finger on which one lol

9 days with no posts in this thread despite Greta's fantastic London performance? Not good enough.

Anyway, here is her acoustic version of the song :

Poor song - getting its performance overshadowed by OTT Russia.

Poor song - getting its performance overshadowed by OTT Russia.

I actually like Greta's performance better than that of Sergey. It's less "over the top" and a bit simpler. Besides, judging from the short clip from her rehearsal, because of colours added it all seems to be less dark than her performance in the NF. I am sure this will look cool on the tv-screen!
The song is in my top 10, but I am still not sure this will reach the final. I dont know who will actually vote for this song? I have a strong feeling that Hear them Calling will be much less liked outside the fan-base..

I don't think this has ever been a very good song, although there are a few good bits in the instrumental part. It clearly is an ambitious track, aiming for greatness and powerfulness, but totally missing its objective. Staging tries to lift it where melody alone could not, but Russia's spoiling those plans now

I don't believe it will reach the final, and Russia will be thankful for it.

Mixed feelings about this one. I kinda like it, but at the same time I think that it is not strong enough and will flop easily in ESC xshrug

And by 'poor song' I was feeling sorry for the song rather than describing it as 'poor'. Just to make myself clear!

I prefer Greta's performance to Sergey too but Russia always has a bigger advantage because it's Russia + Sergey's performance is more spectacular and thus will appeal better to the first-time viewers.

Like it that they brought more colour in the staging. Still my favourite for the win, although I'm afraid she won't be competing for the win. Maybe it is a Måns-copycat performance, it is clearly used in her own way and fitting the song extremely well. Not pretentieus as Russia does, this is pure class.

She needs to practice, however, that she hits all the movements perfectly with the screen.

You can't be serious? How it will do in the final is debatable, but it's position in the final isn't. Even the critics of the song were praising it yesterday. And if anything, Russia doing what it is actually helps Greta, because the heat will be on Sergey for being a copycat, not her.
