Re: ICELAND 2016

After careful consideration (I'm lying, I haven't considered anything) I have to say that Alda and her song have both grown on me. I want her to go. In an ideal world it would be Páll Óskar and his song about Iceland's 30 years in Eurovision but I'm not the ruler of RÚV.

Hopefully Iceland disagrees with you, if you actually want to get out of the Semi this time.

Nessun grado di separazione = best song ever from Italy, but way weaker than Il Volo.

Does anyone else wish they'd swap things around and talk in English and sing in Icelandic?

Please not, Alda's song is so forgettable

Look into this thread, nobody in Europe likes it

Hope your Icelanders make a wise decision. Greta deserves a second chance in ESC

Latin gave way to French, French gave way to English... when the time comes, I'll only accept English handing over to Icelandic or Finnish.

I am utterly shitting myself. I forgot how stressful these shows were when you have a song invested in it. Bloody hell.

Greta's verses are ok, but I don't find anything interesting in the chorus. :?

The most worried I've been about Iceland all night is when Lupus, who's been giving me updates while I watch election returns, told me "now they're performing again" and I was worried that he meant all of them.

Now that I think about it Gréta did do some huge shows here which were kinda like christmas shows and they were wildly popular so she has a pretty good chance over Alda who is very new although has become really popular in a short time.

HOW?!
Alda is a bad singer... gosh, I think she has a huge fanbase in this small island.
