I think Greta Mjöll should really change that performance, it looks very silly, it's like from a children's tv show or something.

You can't even argue about it, because it is not. The only correct term is "Amour"

And "Amor", you can think what you think and I can think what I think, but tell me this: What does "Amor" mean in the song then?

As Spanish and Portuguese users said, it is "LOVE" as you think , but not in French language, cause in French language it's spelled "Amour", it's "love" in Spanish and Portuguese language where it's spelled "Amor"..I learn Spanish believe me.. :) :)

I just checked and it makes sense, but it does mean love, just not in french.

It means Love. Amor means love in Portuguese in Spanish. In French it means nothing, as it's supposed to be "amour".

I'd change 'VOTE FOR AMOR' to 'CRUSH AMOR'.

Actually, our dear Franco gave the administration of Sahara Occidental to Morocco and Mauritania...

History of Sahara Occidental was always kind of mistery to me!

What does Western Sahara have to do with Iceland? You know, it's so hot in Sahara and so cold in Iceland...

We were talking about the title of 'Amor'... As you know, that's Spanish. A Portuguese user said 'Amor' is also Portuguese. Then, I said Ásdís María wants to conquer the Iberian Peninsula, when she sings 'Amor'... I forgot Ceuta and Melilla, and Mrm added Sahara Occidental. For that, we ended up talking about Spanish territories.

Only someone totally out of ideas would call a song "amor" anyway. So lame...

I've got some news about the contest:

The final order of the songs is as follows:

1: F.U.N.K - Þangað til ég dey
2: Ásdís María Viðarsdóttir - Amor
3: Sigríður Eyrún Friðriksdóttir - Lífið kviknar á ný
4: Gissur Páll Sigurðarson - Von
5: Greta Mjöll Samúelsdóttir - Eftir eitt lag
6: Pollapönk - Enga fordóma

And a little extra about Pollapönk, 2 new members have been added to the group, they are wearing purple and orange, one of them is a member of the Heavy Rock band "Skálmöld", and the other one was in the hard rock band "Ham", it seems like Pollapönk will put on a show this Saturday.

My opinion...

Gissur Páll - Von 8,5/10
Sigríður Eyrún - Lífið kviknar á ný 8/10
Greta Mjöll - Eftir eitt lag 6/10
Pollapönk - Enga fordóma 6/10
Ásdís María - Amor 5/10
F.U.N.K - Þangað til ég dey 3/10

I really like to see Von (great voice, clasical) or Lífið kviknar á ný (special, creative, catchy as hell) winning the NF
Eftir eitt lag is a pleasant song, bit too boring though
Amor.. I admit it's growing on me, but it doesn't complies with my music taste at all :?
Þangað til ég dey is rubbish

I quite like the selection, the only two i don't want to see winning are Pollaponk and Von, especially Von.
