Iceland has often been one of my favorites and you're not letting me down this time either. It's not perfect, it could be better, but it's not among the worst songs either. Besides, I like their dresses. =) 8 points.

The silence is killing me! Please please let the ESC version be in Icelandic!!! If you have an English version for promo aswell, then it's okey, but let the ESC version stay Icelandic.

Just look a the overall reaction, and also be true to your own entry! I mean c'mon, you know that English is just a desperate move and is not doing this entry any justice, anyone with a bright mind can hear that.

I hope we get an announcement soon... follow in Croatia's foot-steps thank you! This entry doesn't need English, it's not that type of entry, surely anyone can hear that!?

Is it true that Iceland is thinking about boycotting this year's Eurovision?

Calls are growing for an international boycott of this year's Eurovision song contest in Azerbaijan over concerns about the country's poor human rights record and its clampdown on dissidents.

There have been calls in the European parliament and from human rights activists and Azerbaijani bloggers for a boycott of the contest. Neighbouring Armenia has already withdrawn from Eurovision because of its worsening relations with Baku, Iceland's broadcasters are considering pulling out, and there have been boycott calls from campaigners in Holland, France and Ireland.

This is from The Guardian. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/mar/11/azerbaijan-eurovision-song-contest-boycott?INTCMP=SRCH

Old and untrue "news". It was a group of people asking for a boycott, but you can find similar groups in all countries.

Iceland is in.

I can't understand why people like this song so much, maybe it's because they don't understand the lyrics

I don't understand the hype. It's an ok song, but it's not a winner.

Plus points for singing in Icelandic, though.

There can only be one winner, so the same thing can be said about 41 of the entries

Agree with the last part though, I really hope they keep it in Icelandic. The silence is not a good sign (or is it?).

The more I listen to it, the more I like it, and that's a good sign. The bad sign is that it took me so long to realize that I like it. I hope they'll keep it in Icelandic though. Sounds great.

The video is ready and it will be revealed in the next few days on RUV. I'm guessing on Friday og Saturday night.:D Greta is not willing to say if the final version is in Icelandic or English, I'm guessing it will be in english, but at least she is happy with the results :)

The reason she's not willing to say is probably because she doesn't want to pay any attention to fan reactions and just send the version to EBU and it'll be too late to change anything when it's done. She's been acting quite arrogant throughout this process it seems, clearly the public is not in her mind.

She can be happy, lots of us won't be and I HOPE karma will eat this up if she settles for English! Bad bad BAD choice! She'll notice the fall it will make in everyone's lists if she chooses English.

And what about Jonsí? Puppet with no say?

This will be one of the worst language sell-outs since 1999 ! There's no excuse for this song to be in English.

I really dislike Greta's attitude, she's not saying 'cause it's probably going to be in English and she knows a lot fans didn't like the idea :/ At least have enough courage to inform fans and we will know, not play some guessing games.

In the end I want to be surprised with Islandic and be able to apologise for my words ;)

This is probably the case, and I think the attitude sucks and is not fair to all the fans of the song. Basically she says: "I couldn't care less what you think, but just in case you won't approve, I won't say anything".

In the end I want to be surprised with Islandic and be able to apologise for my words ;)

Considering how harsh I've been, I'll be the first to apologize

But I'm only harsh because I REALLY think English in this case is a total waste and sell-out.

BUT, what if the song ends up being even better in English? Will you be able to say that you were wrong about it? I do think it could be better in Icelandic, BUT, I'm not going to make big statements about it, because I could be wrong about it and I am going to give Greta the benefit of doubt that she will do what she in her heart thinks is right for her song. She is the one who should decide and she will also take the fault if the fans don't like the change she does to the song.

I don't think that it is her obligation to tell us beforehand if she chooses not to do so. BUT I'm guessing that she doesn't want people to influence her decision, she wants to do what she thinks is the right choice for her song, period.
