Oh yeah, Schlager is back. For me it would be a big surprise, if this song will reach the final at the end. It´s the same for me, during the last years, Iceland was mostly one of my favorites, but this year this will never happen.

It was a crime Yohanna wasn't chosen.I so agree with ParadiseES,Iceland should've thought that Europe doesn't know about that when they'll perform on stage in Dusseldorf.

The song itself has it's merits, it's a decent song, but I would prefer Yohanna over them who IMO is the best among the finalists. Still, the friends have good voices, and their song is not bad at all. Ughh, I wanted my Yohanna to rep Iceland

It's a nice song and it's quite different for ESC but if they're hoping they'll get sympathy votes they just won't, unless Europe's commentators are feeling nice enough to tell their audience what happened 3

What in the... so what if the song had a nice message behind it? Ultimately, the general Eurovision audience won't care and they'll vote it out of the final. I don't think the juries will care either. It'll just sound like a weird mish-mash between swing, jazz, bluegrass and pop to most people. I can't believe this entry beat out Yohanna. Sure, Yohanna's entry is a bit dated, but it would've done better at Eurovision.

Vote not for backstories but for good songs and artists.
