Thats why I never noticed it I paid more attention at the UK, France in last and top 5/10 Well Greece didn't want to win, and they made sure they didn't.

What a pity. Usually every year Greece's songs are the songs that I hate at the beginning and love at the end So is this year. It was a huge grower on me. Loved "Rise up" so much.

Preceeding Austria I think ruined their chances in the televote at least. The juries just didn't like them

Juries don't like Greece at all from 2009...So this is just political and strategic voting from the juries, Greece didn't deserve that THIS year, Aphrodisiac deserved 20th place.

^No,it wasn't pretty sure at all. But its ''Greece'', after all my friend, bacause if Sweden or Denmark would send ''Rise Up'' they would end up at top 5.

Sweden had a poor result in 2013 and Denmark in 2012. So I don't get your point.

But Rise Up is ofc fantastic and horribly underrated.... .

This 20th place is the worst place ever for Greece, although we were in the same place (20th) back in 1998 with Dionysia Karoki & Thalassa...

Well, other countries have suffered already a lot of last places..... so 20th is not so horrible....
And Greece has often been overrated in the past....

The atmosphere was amazing but the vocals were bad and everything turned out a little messy.

Guys the juries hate us cause we sent uptempo party songs . If we send ballad they will love us.

*And remember: we can't be always in the top 10. Not even Azerbaijan achieve it

You can be proud of your entry! Although it didn't do that well, it was a big party in the hall and also for those who listened to it from their TV You were my favorite this year and I'm very thankful that Greece let me discovered this song which is definitely going to be one of my this years summer hits At the end, its not about how the entry ended up, it's more about how you presented your country. And I can tell you: They represented your country better than nobody else could have done it, at least for me!

So this is the lowest Greece has ever finished in the semis?

Undeserving, song was great, the arena was on fire!! Juries placed them 9th, which isn't too bad considering the style of the song!

Has anyone mentioned this but, I saw on Wikipedia that apparently Greece is considering withdrawing because they find the new drawing system to decide the order completely unfair, and they don't like the 50/50 voting because for 6 years in a row the juries have dragged them down.
