especially Silbereisen who clearly has no clue about Eurovision.

If some of the candidates and the NDR have no clue about Eurovision, Silbereisen is very suitable for being a guest on this "hitshow" of a national final.

Anyway, can we talk about the guests? WHHHY did they bring back Simonetti and Silbereisen as if these two were some kind of Eurovision royalty. They were unbearable last year, especially Silbereisen who clearly has no clue about Eurovision.
It will be a boredom. NDR will never learn, not about songs, not about guests.

What the fuck is that running order?! Was it fully randomized or did the producers do it?

Should've put the 😴 emoji before every song

I think they did a (live) draw in 2022 but returned to producers doing it last year. This year we have man/woman and fast/slow pretty evenly spread out. Whatever you can call fast in this line-up...

Maybe they put Beatrice Egli, Francine Jordi, Andy Borg, Andreas Gabalier people on the Swiss/Austrian jury and Marie Reim can hope for a few points. :p

Love on a budget and Forever strong are still HORRIBLE opening and closing acts 💀
I would've done this:

1. 💩 Naiv
2. 😴Scars
3. 😴Love on a Budget
4. 😴Undream You
5. 😴Katze
6. 😴Forever strong
7. 🙂Oh Boy
8. 🙂Tears like Rain
9. 🙂Always on the Run

Open with an upbeat song, it's the german schlager people wanted and get through with it right out the gate. Then the most chanceless song in the death slot as a palette cleanser. And have the three most promising acts as the closers to at least leave with a more solid impression towards the end (and the so people that tune in later don't miss them) and end on a song that also has a bit of Schmackes.

The best Voting would be 50% TV and 50% german ESC-Fans from Twitter and this Forum and no international Jury.

Max was obvious to me as soon as he was announced. Maybe he was even the reason the application deadline was extended...

That's very likely IMO. He said flat out in Interviews that he had loosely considered returning to the ESC in 2024, then forgot, then asked the NDR later and got "yeah, songs need to be submitted in 3 days". While Forever strong is definitely awful enough to have been written completely in 2 days, I doubt he did.

Regarding the running order, it's... fine. Kind of similar principal to last year I think. Forever strong is a horrible closing act because it's unbelieveably bland and just offensively bad - but Max got that pimp slot thanks to his name anyway. I'll admit I don't even get why he's so beloved as a singer. He's... fine, but something about his voice always sounds so strained to me. Isaak, Bodine & Ryk all have better voices, and from what I've seen they can all deliver live too. But whatever, many people love Max, so what can I do. But I really hope the others all deliver live, because I can see that kicking Max out of the jury top 3 (potentially Leona too, if she can really create a moment on stage). And then we have a chance he won't win even if he wins the televote.
