Me too, this would have easily been my favorite.
Maybe a few 'always on the run run run run's too many. But still.

In our show "Ich will zum ESC" where Rea Garvey and Conchita Wurst will guide a few newcomers. The wildcard.
I'm still not that sure that Max is participating, he is too much of an odd one out...
I have the same feeling. I would rather want to see Isaak instead of Max. Then I could support someone really. Isaak could attract Juries and televoters.

The melody is not bad, but I just can't with her voice ...Listened to the Marie Reim preview on Apple NZ. Low key a bop if I'm honest lmao. Still think its an Amarillo ripoff but I would possibly vote for her in this selection if she were to pop up tomorrow. Thats how desperate I am at this point

Same here. It's catchy and up-tempo at least.. I will wait for Isaak to miraculously to be announced as a participant tomorrow but if that's not the case, I will probably be settling down for Marie Reim.
I like the previews of the two ballads as well but dunno, I would like to get a song in German again.
IF Reim is a part of the NF. Even that's unsure by now ... people also are still unsure if it's really Mutzke cause he has concerts during the ESC time ... so it's a big questionmark now.
We have no time yet. That's typical for NDR. Giving us no exact dates and all.

Brilliant - I guess, I will listen to all songs after work now.
Maybe having so many ballads in the NF isn't bad at all.
They will help me to take a nap after teaching kids for hours tomorrow
(so that I will get enough energy/power for 2nd semi on Saturday)

all of them are awful (except for from fall to spring) so I'm happy!
Fair enough but Thomas Godoj is still somehow "known" and Versengold are one of our most successful bands singing in German. They just released a #1 album last year and it even hit the Top 20 in
In our NFs, the biggest acts usually "don't win" anyway (e.g. Unheilig, Scooter) but NDR is seriously not doing Eurovision any favour if they only let newcomers and unkown people singing English song compete.
Like other users pointed out, variety is lacking this year in terms of quality, genres and also reputatation and fame of artists.
And that's pretty disappointing and really frustrating.
And I know that having a #1 album in Germany doesn't mean being successful at Eurovision (Lord of the Lost) but at least, letting such artists compete in our NFs increased the popularity of the contest among different people and fanbases in Germany.
Suddenly, several media outlets which didn't report on Eurovision, picked up stories and news about Liverpool last year which was great for a change.
If you come up with a NF full of nobodies such as Ryk, Isaak, Leona and broadcast it at 10 pm, NDR and ppl shouldn't be surprised that most German people won't recognise our entrant until 11th May.
