What a bad show and the usual bland winner as always. Without body shaming anyone but this entr totally reminds me of UK 2019-21. Actually I am really hoping we will set that record and make it dead last for a third year running. Now that would be iconic and so deserved.

It’s not bad, it’s not good. It’s distinctly beige, so will please no one.

The song is listenable and his voice is decent, but beyond that there’s not a lot else to say. It’s so nothingy that most viewers will forget it very fast.

I don’t want to definitively say it’s coming last in the final, but it’s definitely going to be in and around it.

We're a country of 84 million inhabitans - the "hardcore ESC fans" are a very tiny group - If our national final got some viewing figures around 3-5 million people again, it's safe to say that the general public had a say - which is totally fine for such a big country. It's not like any of the other entries would be Top 15 in Malmö anyway.
Sometimes it sucks, I know - but last year, people voted for Lord of The Lost (not because of Eurovision fans but because the metal scene united and it was somehow promoted on many different rock/metal outlets).

Is it tho? Even during the show you post stuff like "Oh shut up Florian Silbereisen, we all know you don't care about the ESC" (based on what?) or something like that, or bashing Marie's singing capabilities when she's is clearly perfectly fine. Okay, you don't like Schlager, I get it. But seeing "PR attempts" when people with connections to the Schlager scene obviously prefer the Schlager entry when asked about their opinion is either wanting them to lie or not letting them say their opinion at all simply because you disagree with them. And that is a pretty toxic and overly negative mindset to me, sorry.

He was definitely the one that could have provided Germany a better result for sure and he knew it, so this shitty outcome must be hard to digest. Let's hope some day he has his chance to get selected internally without this ridiculous NF that has only placed Germany in the bottom 5.
