Would be exciting to see anyone from the current Hamburg-based electronic pop scene like the Bello Neon label involved somehow, for some reason none of them seem to be much for doing live performances, but maybe as songwriters for some singer with more stage experience...

And believe it or not but she actually WON that category :eek: which says indeed a lot about German TV but also the criteria for this particular award categories. It feels rather random and that the most hyped / well known nominee wins and in this case, everyone was up for random stuff they did this year and have been showered with prizes like that since forever. The awards show itself was also pretty dull and felt like a s!sister-show (no pun intended) to what ARD and NDR fabricate every year.
