One of the Songs he wrote at the SWC is about his older Brother. But his Song is called "our City" and is from his own Repertoire, and not from the SWC, so the 2 Juries didnt choose that Song.

It's the third time in a row that I won't be watching the German final. I didn't watch the NF back in 2017 due to the two chosen songs and the whole concept being messy, outrageous and ridiculous. Last year, I had other commitments and this time as well.

I thought that not listening to any more national final songs of any preselection would be an interesting idea (I have exams coming up, need to write term papers and I will be travelling as well so that I will be missing a few presentations anyway + I need to study a lot). This WAY, I will be able to listen to all 42 entries when all final versions of the entries will have been released by mid-March.

I dont know where the missing interest comes from, I think its also maybe due to our bad national finals in recent years. Really was no fan of the past 5 years. Like, last year was UBER cringey, especially bad voting, 2017, we dont have to talk about it, and 2016 was just done as fast as possible. We need A REAL GOOD SHOW and some good old names back I believe.
