[...] he covered his ears when people considered Levina's perfect life too Titanium-like, promised us a revamp and what did we get, nothing really. [...]

As far as I remember, the songwriter of Perfect Life didn't allow a substantial revamp. So even if Schreiber's team wanted to, their hands were pretty much tied at this point.

Upgrading my :6: to a :10:. This entry is truly beautiful, even though it'll end up in the bottom 10 without any doubts. xshrug

They got 12 points from Juries and 12 points from Televote. Which representative gets that support??

How are they supposed to end up last?!

I think it's quite ironic that they got only 6 points from the Eurovision fanbubble vote, and it's this bubble that is complaining the most. Guess what, they don't really count in the end.

How can someone buy a song and not asking the important questions?! Seriously, it doesn't get any more incompetent than this team

You should read the German feedback. The bigger question's who voted for Sister and how did they got so many points. Because barely anyone voted for them or even liked them here.... ;)

Here we are right inside the bubble. I guess you didn't get my point.

I got your point. Do you think all Germans that looked the NF last night are inside the ESC Bubble?! No, they not! You can read criticism literally EVERYWHERE!

No need to get harsh towards me.

Anyway, I do honestly think that they mayn't do well with the juries, considering that international juries and televoting votes in a national final don't matter that much. Not the same juries will cast their votes during the ESC grand final. xshrug This song will certainly appeal to the casual ESC viewers though.

Then have a national final like last year, with shitty filler songs and one Michael Schulte. And everyone's happy.

A final like this on such a high level with many great acts, only breaks the hearts of those who wanted someone else to win.

Tumblr, mostly.
I mean I DISLIKE the song (it reminds me of that other grating F/F ballad we've had in Estonia last year, 'Taivas', except this one also has Lisa Ajax's/Isaiah Firebrace's staging so extra minus points for that) and I think S!sters winning is a beyond stupid decision, but whatever, It's done. Germany decided. This was their choice. They've made their bed and now must lie in whichever right-side placement it'll yield for them. No point in whining about the fact S!sters won, but I will continue to slam that abominable song unless it is miraculously revamped/restaged into something I find [more] appealing.

This song screams Black Smoke 2.0. A nice and sweet singer on a fitting stage with an okay-ish song. Most people will have the song rather in the middle field. The Juries having it on their 11. / 12. position and we all know how it's going to end! Germany, 0 points!

Black Smoke did quite well with the juries from what I can recall. It's such a shame that Ann Sophie did get to compete under the previous voting system... :(

My TOP from yesterday

1-S!sters – Sister - This was my favorite, his vocals and performance were very good. I am very happy with his victory
2-Gregor Hägele - Let Me Go - This was a very repetitive song ... But it got stuck in my head, especially in the chorus ... I found this very interesting
3-Lilly Among Clouds – Surprise - His music was so captivating, I just thought his vocals were very weak today (maybe the nerves) …
4-Makeda - The Day I Loved You Most - She had a great voice (the best of the night possibly), I had an excellent performance ... I just did not find the song "remarkable"
5-Aly Ryan - Wear Your Love
6-Linus Bruhn - Our City
7-Bb Thomaz - Demons

I loved your reactions, they were so happy ... I fell in love with Carlotta xheart

Good choice Germany, for now 8 points from me

Well, at least he got 3x12 points and had a nice amount of support after the show!
You still don't understand the real problem here. Germans aren't pissed, because their favorite didn't made it. I can assure you, if Lilly, Aly or even Makeda had won, people wouldn't be half as pissed. There were three favorites, who all played by the rules and in the end the fucking wildcare entry gets the win. Why? Because they got a lot of help and extra promotion from Schreiber/NDR. This isn't playing by the rules! This is bending the rules until I like the outcome!

but I will continue to slam that abominable song unless it is miraculously revamped/restaged into something I find [more] appealing.
I'm not feeling any different myself and I am German!

Anne Sophie got zero points, because many Juries had her on their 11. position. It doesn't matter, if they liked her or not. She still ended the show with literally nothing! ;)

One of the stronger songs of this year. Definitely love it.

Someone apparently has never created a piece of art him/herself  The salt is real. It's actually quite common that artists (in all kinds of domains, especially in literature, since that is my field of work) don't want others to change their work. This is really not a point you can hold against Schreiber  (I'd rather criticise the choice of songs, but oh well, what's in the past is in the past)

I love how "Sister" is a Swiss reject. Oh Germany ... what have you done?
I mean, picking the worst (yes, it`s a fact. I`m sorry) out of 7 songs is a talent as well ... right? ... right?
