I'd love to see something like OK KID at ESC (Ich kann alles !!), of course they wouldn't do it (not that that the public would vote for something like that
) but I think it'd be really interesting, bands like Twenty One Pilots have been having a huge success and that kind of upbeat style would be so fun and different.
AnnenMayKantereit would be another dream of mine, I mean, Henning May's voice screams 12 points just by itself

I hope Lara Trautmann tries it again this/next year with an application. Still don't get how she didn't manage to get to the national final, people must have been deaf, she's stunning!
Or Nicole Milik, who once has been at the wildcard concert in 2014! Also an amazing musician and still so underrated.

Question: Sowohl Fahrenhaidt als auch dein Produzent Nicolas Rebscher haben sich schon mal beim Eurovision Song Contest engagiert. Deutschland hat mit Levina gerade erst eine junge Künstlerin nominiert, die in Kiew antreten wird. Wäre der ESC für dich grundsätzlich auch vorstellbar?
Answer: Nein. Beim ESC geht es nicht mehr um den Song und die Musik, sondern um die Show. Oder es geht darum, möglichst skurril und absurd zu sein - wenn Russland zum Beispiel sechs Omis auf die Bühne holt. Wenn ich Erfolg haben sollte, dann aber bitte wegen der Songs. Ich bin Songwriterin und möchte, dass meine Songs Leute berühren. Der ESC verfolgt ein anderes Konzept.

I don't think that the mainpoint is the Show. Without a good song, a good show can't save it either. And in the meanwhile, it is not about being absurd or quirky anymore. There are many Songs that are Mainstream and quite normal. So I disagree about what she says.

Terrible. Didn't like it back then. Also, an important part of the song are the lyrics. Without them the song makes not that much sense. But if nobody comprehends them I don't think anyone would vote for them.
