After re-watching (+live impressions) my ranking of USFD would look like this:
12. "Weil du da bist" - Das gezeichnete Ich (The song is ok but he was very very out of tune) - 2 Points
11. "Wir werden niemals untergehen" - Santiano (okish performance but the song is kind of boring for me) - 3 Points
10. "Mo Hotta Mo Betta" - The Baseballs (weak song ,the performance was avarage) - 4 Points
9. "Fiddeler on the deck" - Santiano (Not my cup of tea, performance was solid and the hall loved it) - 4 Points
8. "Wir sind alle wie eins" - Unheilig (Ok song, solid performance and a strong voice) - 5 points
7. "Als wärs das erste mal" - Unheilig (same but this song is a bit better) - 5 Points
6. "Fight against myself" - Elaiza (avarage song and solid performance) - 6 Points
5. "Candy Jar" - MarieMarie (good song with an ok performance) - 6 Points
4. "Like lovers do" - Madeline Juno (very good song but she was out of tune at some parts, "Error" would have been the better choice) - 7 Points
3. "Thank you" - Oceana (very cool song and she performed it really well, for me one of the surprises of the evening) - 8 Points
2. "Is it right" - Elaiza (good song, altough a bit " too safe", strong performance, adorable girls and the audience loved them - they are a deserved winner) - 10 Points
1. "Cotton Candy Hurricane" - MarieMarie (very catchy song - I loved it from the first time I heard it , well performed) - 12 Points
I hope we will have a strong national final like this again next year BUT with a better voting-system please. There should be a Jury-vote but with less power then the Televote.
BTW... I asked some people from the audience why they were booing on Unheilig... Got an expected answer - they liked "Als wärs das erste mal" more then "Wir sind alle wie eins" and were pissed that the second one made it trough ... but Still it was very uncool and I don't get it

A day after the NF i´m still disappointed of yesterday´s result.
We had the chance to send Unheilig, one of our most famous acts with the potential of reaching a top10-rank in Copenhagen and sent Elaiza.
In my opinion, "Is it right" isn´t bad at all, so I gave 5 points, but "Als wärs das erste Mal" would´ve been much better.

Elaiza really did have a massively unfair advantage over all the other acts given that she was fresh from being voted as the wildcard entry.
She already had an established voting fanbase that the other acts didn't have.
I hope Germany does away with this wildcard thing or else more established acts will be discouraged from entering when they know it isn't a level playing field

Yes, I truly think yesterday's show was more damaging than helpful. It seems as the broadcaster tries to re-invent the wheel over and over again. It was such a hostile environment....the Wildcard has to go away.
As do the superfinal and two-song system.

What? That just makes it a unfair disadvantage for the wildcard winner! The other artists have established fanbases, and their songs are also previously known!
Superfinal for sure is bad as I mentioned before, people vote out of spite rather than for their favorite. Especially when an act that is a bit more polarizing takes part.
The two song system is something that I could in theory support but not if half of them will be eliminated before they had a chance to perform the second one.
La Band Brassa wasn't really a famous band whatsover and they almost won last year. Germany in particular loves the underdog as we could see by the reaction of the past couple of years. A mix of televote and jury is needed, too.

I didn't mention anything about jury or televote, but I agree. This year the superfinal was mixed jury with televote, but it should be during the full show.
That's incorrect, it was 100% televote

USFD can really lauch Elaiza! Let's just hope that even if the results aren't great in the ESC their career is not destroyed!

Lena's song has charted much higher in the other countries but this result is like a small revival and gives a small hint that the song maybe get a higher position.
Roman had only chart entries in Austria and Switzerland as I remember so far.
Cascada charted even worser in the charts.

If Elaiza didn't win, I'd want to see MarieMarie representing Germany. Cotton Candy Hurricane & Is It Right both are really well qualified songs imo. But if we conseder songs for a show contest, Is It Right could be easier for watchers that will be watching the show and listening to the songs for the first time to get attention. Hurricane may sound like a bit boring for those listening to that for the very first time.
As the national final of Germany, Unser Song Für Danaemark, this is such an originial idea for a national final. But I find second songs system a bit unnecessary. All of singers sang their better songs for first except Unheimlig. This is of course personal idea to call any song "better" or "worse", but second songs tour was a bit boring to me, that's all. If Elaiza and someone else were qualified, the another one would qualify with their first song indeed imo. Afterall, I want to see Germany with such national finals every year.
