They really try to build up a hype and serve as far as image goes, let's see if they can live up to it. The best Georgian entry to date still remains their debut one, so it's 15 years overdue to at least somewhat match the level of that one. Apart from that they literally just entered two other "good enough" entries in all that time imo, so yeah it's about time!

I feel they can. Their JESC entries with Giga have been great in these past couple of years.

This year, Georgia seems set up for success. They have a singer who has won Junior Eurovision before, and an extremely accomplished writer in the ESC world. However, can they please just release the God Damn song.

I mean the last 2 have been as far as jESC level goes, but on a level for music for adults as well that I would go back listen to again? Nah...

Winning jESC means nothing tbh, most people don't care about jESC or even knows about its existence. People said the same about Melody when she entered for Malta...

The song is really where it needs to work...

That's more likely because of its association with something 'junior'. If they were sung by a regular adult artist, it will be as eligible as any other Eurovision entry from other countries.

(However, repeatability of a song is up to one's taste, regardless of its Eurovision status.)

Yes, but that's not what I meant. The songs were good for jESC, but still written with kids in mind and still not on a level I expect from a good ESC entry (I have lower expectations on jESC entries, eventhough some were admittedly better than their adult counter-parts like for instance Poland in ESC vs. their Junior entries, and I would argue Georgia also falls into that category, but with that said I still hope for better in adult ESC).

But yes, I agree in the end it's about taste. I don't really care much about jESC to begin with.

Please Georgia, give us an Epic dark pop ballad. We have great ballads this year (Italy, Estonia, Cyprus) but they are only aiming for a Top 10 at best. This year, we really miss a Top 3 or even winning material ballad like we had many editions before (2021, 2020, 2019, for example).

I need Georgia to make up for this very disappointing year for me.

I FUCKING LOVE IT AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

but i guess those who say it's the best Georgian entry are the Gen-Z fans who never heard about their 2007 entry.
that one is nearly impossible to top for me

I’m not going to properly judge it on 45 seconds especially with that audio quality but it definitely sounds promising and worthy of getting Georgia back in the final
