@ Iuris

I loved Esma & Vlatko, actually. :) To me it wasn't mess! :) Well Gypsy Balkan sound must be messy a bit.. :) It's different to Spanish Andalusian Gypsy a bit! :D :) I have a pic with Esma & Vlatko from Malmo, and I have been to their party.. :) It was AMAZING..

I preferred 'Imperija' :(

A photo? Ahhhh, send me it :D

Hahahahhaah @ A-lister

You want ethno everywhere... :D

I like when countries stay true to the ESC concept yes... that doesn't mean it all has to be ethno though... but it's nice if we get more like that xshrug

And considering The Shin (half of this act) is an ethno/jazz collective, I'd say chances of getting an ethno-influenced Georgian entry this year are quite big!

You and your "fake ethno"

It'll probably be something jazzy/ethno... neither of the acts look like they'd come out making a "Kalomira" or something

Kalomira was quite good, show didn't look cheap and eastern European like Ukrainian and Armenian entries did! :D i dislike that song, but it's not a horror.. :D

Wow, that sounded very degrading towards Eastern Europe... xshrug

And it's funny, you complain about vocals, yet you take an obvious untalented vocalist like Kalomira who has got no actual talents (apparently she won a talent show because her dad paid them) over ACTUAL talents like Ani Lorak? ... xshrug

Sorry, I can't take someone serious who complains about Sirusho's vocals and prefer Kalomira (who is a weak singer)...

Taste differs of course as far as songs goes, but all I can see is a country bias and nothing else because Kalomira's entry was in the exact same category that you dislike when it comes from other countries (booty shaking-ethno-pop).

Don't be like that! :)

I didn't vote Kalomira, I just between these two non quality entries prefer Greek one..cause she had better show for me.. :)

Hehe...

Well, it's not that, I just don't "get" your "logic" at times... you can hate on some sort of entries calling them "cheap Ukrainian and Armenian", but ironically if Greece is sending a similar thing it's suddenly "ok" (and Kalomira is less talented than pretty much everyone Ukraine and Armenia sent to date).

Don't get me wrong though, I actually happen to like both Kalomira's entry and Sirusho's, but it would be sorta hypocritical to call the more talented of the two "less talented"... but of course, as far as song goes one can still prefer the one performed by the "less talented" one...

I think he's not the only one who still expect ethno-songs every year. xheya

I'm so happy for Sakartvelo's decision. I've been waiting so long in this 4 boring years for a true folk song again (2010 only had 1, Kuunkuiskaajat)
I don't care if the song is jazz, pop (I would be pleased with another "Visionary Dream"), rock or even opera. With The Shin, we'll have fusion for sure!
