I'm happy we will see Kaliopi again but it is sad to see Macedonia not trying anything other and only see Kaliopi as solution when they lose their way. To not be misunderstood, I love Kaliopi and I'm happy she is back again. Simply, Macedonia is not trying to find good song for another good performer.

Eventhough, last year they sended a good artist, but they crapped it all with the performance and IMO, the Skopjefest version of the song was stronger than the final version.

Yup. Lisja Esenski was in my personal top 5 and I'll never stop complaining about how the revamp put it down to around my #20. xsnooty

Well we got a pretty satisfying semi final:
Many of neighbours are in:

Serbia
Slovenia
Bulgaria
Albania

And most of our diaspora:

Switzerland
Italy
Australia

However it all depends on the song because we can't depend on neighbours and diaspora alone and our diaspora only votes if we sent a satisfying song and good singer(covered) due to the Macedonian mentality (and they should continue to be like that)

It should be but unfortunately many people in the diaspora vote for their home countries even when they hate the song or haven't heard it at all (Azrah in the Austrian NF is a perfect example of this)

I think that if people really dislike a song from the original home country, than they won't help it. Just look at Armenia and Turkey 2011, which easily would have qualify any other year, but just that year the diaspora from these two didn't help them to qualify. Also I believe that Azerbaijan stole the turkish diaspora that year. So you still need at least a decent song, otherwise even "your own" people can turn against you....

Considering is sending one of the greatest Balkan artists Eurovision has ever seen and is in the same semi as , , and I think it is safe to assume that we will see FYR Macedonia in the final

Even if she ends up performing second or third (which I can see it happening), she's got this if she gets another good song. She performed 2nd in 2012 and blew everyone who came after her.

This is the exact same situation as 2012, only with replacing !

Not fully though. In 2012 and were also in the same semi and helped her with 22 additional points.
If she only gets votes from the balkan countries, like in 2012, it wont be enough for qualification this time.

But there will be also and , in which there is relatively significant Ethnic Macedonian diaspora. I think she will be fine.
