So very happy with Kaliopi representing Macedonia :-) I like her personally and also was a fan of "Crno i Belo" in 2012.

And since nobody has posted it before, time again for a classic :-)

Macedonia is a risky country and Kaliopi is a respectful singer. I really like Kaliopi's work in 2012, from song to the way she represented her country with a strong stage performance. However, I kinda have fear. What if Kaliopi can't make it through the final? What if she ends up like Valentina Monetta did? I hope everything will be fine for her.

Okay I just watched Kaliopi Stisni Play interview and here are the main things she said:

-She knows it's going to be an uphill battle to repeat Црно и Бело success (both at the charts and Eurovision) so she won't settle for a lesser song
-Romeo Gril will write the entry again.
-She won't be singing in English.
And to answer the people who made the ESC-United pod-cast yes Црно и Бело was in Kaliopi usual style.
And can somebody please edit out the news about Skopje-Fest being used to decide our 2016 entrant it's an eyesore!

Ok, now this is getting interesting, I feared she wouldn't take into account the level of quality she brought to the contest in 2012. She won't go with an average song and rely only on her voice, that's good news because singers who come back usually think their name will guarantee a qualification and/or a good placing, and that's not true (Niamh Kavanagh, Chiara and Dana International come to my mind).

Just a note she only said that she won't sing in English although I'm 99% sure that she will sing in Macedonian there is still that 1% chance that she may sing in an another language most likely Aromanian

Yes this was 90% of the interview. She was saying that she doesn't want to bring her country down and she will only take a song that gives her the same emotions that Црно и Бело gave her. Also she is aware that reaching the final is a hard task and that she is already working with her team to make sure that happens.
Although I was sceptical at first watching the interview restored my faith in Kaliopi since she is aware of the things you said and she isn't expecting a joy ride to the final.

I've been watching live Kaliopi performances, and despite not knowing a word of her language, she still manages to make an emotional and powerful performance every time. I actually genuinely love her, thank you eurovision for bringing me Kaliopi. I'll almost definitely be throwing at least a vote Macedonia's way. I'm so excited for what she will sing.
