Our delegation's members might try to win as hard as they can, but when our HoD just chimes in the whole selection process and tries to have things get her way, then... it's tiring, it's excruciating and there we go - a flawless entry fucked up by a dreadful staging.

It's certainly not a question of not wanting to win. However, the less-is-more-in this regard should be something the HoD might consider a thing.
The tower in this is completely unnecessary and instead we could have some camera moving towards La Zarra and away from her again. It would make her movements appear less hectic and maybe she wouldn't be afraid to break her neck by making a tiny step towards the wrong direction.

I adore the song and I listen to it almost everyday, but the performance is a no for me. As some of you are saying, less is more. I think La Zarra would have benefited from a staging like Barbara Pravi 2021, playing with the lights and 'sensual' movements from the stage directly and not from that tiny platform. Anyway, still looking for a deserved top 10 result in the final.

She might be. She is strapped in, but that won't help when the entire structure is very wobbly and shakes everytime La Zarra tries to dance.

I don't think she looks very comfortable in the clips released so far. I can see that being offputting to viewers.

Thanks for sharing this, I hope they manage to fix what needs to be fixed.
At least she admits that it's not perfect and that there is still work. I prefer this than simply ignoring the truth and being overconfident.

I think we'll do Top10 but not more, mostly thanks to the juries. #6 is pretty early, I don't think we will have much support with the Televote... but let's see

I am so nervous and pissed at the same time. Pissed about that staging, pissed about Italy getting that spot that should've been for France but I am trying to be positive for tomorrow. My expactations have been much lowered throughout the week whereas one week ago I was super optimistic. Let's hope she'll not be a total flop and fall out of the top 10 á la that overrated Madame Monsieur. I know that everything above place 8 would be lucky but I still think she deserves top 5 this year with that song. It is that kind of banger.
